Standing in the mirror going through her looks one more time and touching up on her make up Eleanor finally feels ready to go.
It's two weeks later, and the reason why she's all dolled up is because she finally accepted Alex's invitation for a date. She's decided to give him a chance after getting to know him better. They've been texting pretty much every single day since the play and from what he's shown her through text is, that he's pretty much a normal guy so she decided to give it a shot.Receiving a text from Alex telling him that he's waiting on her outside she leaves her room and meets him outside the gates.
Seeing him for a very first time again after these two weeks, has her feeling nervous.Standing there outside the gates, is Alex leaning on his car waiting for El to arrive.
"Hey you look absolutely amazing" Alex says a small bouquet of roses in his hand.
"Thank you, so do you" she replies cheeks turning slightly red.
He really looks dashing wearing a nice suit and tie, hair nicely done, amazing smile on his face, and a very good looking car behind him.
Giving her the flowers she's not really sure whether she should give him a hug. Alex leans in, offering her a hug that she gladly accepts.
"Nice car you have"
"Thank you. I mean I kind of had to impress you, right" he joked
Today they will be going for dinner at a restaurant. Eleanor has never been there, so she's very excited to try it out.
Arriving at a fancy looking restaurant, they are brought to a table that offers privacy.
Eleanor has actually been nervous about the date cause she doesn't want people to find out. He's still a prince and that alone brings lot of media attention, but Alex promised her that she wouldn't have to worry about anything, that he will make sure they can enjoy each others company without any prying eyes.Taking a seat at the table and going through the menu Alex starts the conversation
"It looks quite nice right"
It. being Peter Bridwell's Restaurant
Glancing around her, Eleanor notices the beautiful decorations. This place just looks costly.
"It does look really nice. You did a good job picking out this place"
"This place is actually owned by a mate of mine."
"Would it be the same mate whose sister goes to Oxford?"
It actually is yes. Peter ensured we wouldn't be bothered. Alex explained.
The waiter arrives with a bottle of wine pouring us both a glass.
"Well, cheers to Peter then" she chimed, clinking their wine glass together.
"Have you seen anything that you might want to try?"
Looking up from her menu she replies.
"Um i'm trying to decide between the Cheese Soufflés with apple, walnut and pomegranate salad or langoustine Ravioli with braised orange."
Looking up at Alexander, she can't help but stare, a concentrated look on his face moving her eyes towards his nose, then his lips, she can see them moving, but she can't seem to hear the sounds coming from them. Snapping out for daydream she looks back at his blue eyes. An amused look on his face now.
"Oh sorry what were you saying?"
She feels her cheeks heating up."That the Cheese soufflé sounds delicious." Alex laughs "what was on your mind just then"
