Day nine

Ghost pov :

I open my eyes in a dark and warm throne Hall. The king is infront of me sitting in his throne.
I kneel.

-"What have you decided?" He speaks refering to my Ultimate choice.
-"I've decided to stay on earth, my King"
I say feeling slightly guilty.
-"You seem quite hesitant about your decision."
-"I am very determined in my choice.''
-"Well, it will be as you chose. Come closer"

I walk up to him, looking directly in his eyes which are holes filled with infinite fire. He smiles, it's not everyday occurrence that demons look into their kings eyes.

He touched my forehead, and I'm gone.

I wake up in my bed beside Kas and Johnny, it's quite warm in here.
I feel like normal, but try to grow into my demon form. Which, no wonder, does not work. Only my fingers are black at the ends, which I believe shows that I once was using the dark for my own purpose.
I smile to myself, and close my eyes again.

I wake up again, Kas is with me Johnny went somewhere. I look at the clock, 07:00 (7am). Not bad.

-"Kas, are you awake?"
-"I am, just like the new smell of you"
I rasie an eyebrow.
-"Weirdo"
-"Sorry you smell better than you did yesterday, what changed?"
-"Umm I stopped being a demon?"
-"You did?" He sounds kinda... Shocked?
-"Yeah... It feels weird being mortal"
Kas looks like he's thinking about something, deeply.

-"What?"
-"I'm wondering since you're human now maybe I can turn you into a vampire?
-"I suppose so, but why?"
-"Well you were immortal, so you probably did not notice when you get hurt. It just didn't bother you before because you couldn't die. And I'm just worried that on the battlefield you won't be careful enough to stay alive."
-"I see the point... We can try I guess. But what about Johnny? I want all of us to stay together. He'll be the only one who's not immortal."
-"I'll talk to him about it later, stand up."

I do as he asked.
He then pulled me closer and bit my neck, it hurt more than usual.

-"Ouch f-fuck..." I bit my lip.
-"Sorry, needed to bite deeper so you can be a vampire."
-"Sure, let's just say I believe that"
-"Believe what you want, we need to eat something now."
-"I still have to get dressed"
-"Do it quickly"
It's funny listening to his accent on words like 'quickly', he tries to hide it but it slips up.

I take my clothes and go to the bathroom, refreshing myself and throwing my clothes on. Black compression shirt, some mud-alike green trousers and my black polished boots. Johnny must have done that one.

-"I'm done" I say walking out of the bathroom leaving the doors open.

Kas looked up at me with a slight smile.

-"You think we'll catch John in the cafeteria?"
-"Maybe, that bastard forgets to eat"
-"You're right... I'll look for him, and I hope you don't skip breakfast"
-"Breakfast? Never"
-"Sehr gut" he said, which I didn't understand but I think it means 'good' or something, and left.

I grabbed my mask, put it on and left.
It's quite amusing at our base.
Some stuff blow up from time to time, the new recruits trying to join my task force or Kor-Tac are running from left to right.
The smell of fire, gun powder, cigarettes and mostly mud everywhere.

It's a short walk from my barrack room to the cafeteria, when I got there I took my tray and sat down at my usual spot.
Then Kas and Johnny walked in, took their food and they sat down with me.

-"So what did you want to ask me Kas? You've been talking the whole way here about it" Johnny said while chewing his food. Bastard with no manners.
-"Ghost and I were wondering if you maybe want to be a vampire." König said, making it sound like the most normal thing in the world.
-"Uhh what?" Johnny looked between me and Kas. "You already got bitten? Si?"
-"Yes I was, Kas was worried about me killing myself on accident"
-"I mean I don't know, never been immortal ya know? Sounds good since I'll have you two by my side"
-"So? Final decision?" I asked, hoping he'll choose to stay with us.
-"Sure, but we'll do that in the evening I have some stuff to do."
-"Can bite you now it takes couple of days to transform so the sooner the better."
-"If ya say so, when we're done we'll go to your office Si. It's the closest."
-"Sure, now stop spitting everywhere and finish your food."
-"Stop tellin me how to live, it'll be upsetting after the first 100 years"

We finished our food and headed towards my office.

I unlocked the doors, it was quite dusty in here since I haven't been here in a week. I'll make this a punishment for someone to clean here.

-"Come in" I gestured "Ladies first"
-"Your ass is so dead tonight" Johnny said and kissed my cheek then bit my neck.
Shit.

They both walked in and König immediately took Johnnys face into his hands and bit his neck.

-"Wow that's a quick way to give someone a hickey" I scoff
-"I can give you one if you're so jealous" Kas said after pulling away
-"Didn't hurt as much as I imagined, thought it will be unbearable"
-"I thought differently. Anyway, I have things to do. You two?"
-"I do too" Johnny confirmed
-"Me as well" Kas said
-"See ya two on dinner then" Johnny said and walked out of the room
Kas smiled and also left.

I started doing my reports and other papers.
