The door bell rang on a cool Saturday morning I was very close to having my baby at this point and I sensed that today would be the day I sent a letter to aurora and Philip explaining that I was due to have my baby any minute I walked downstairs and to the front door I opened the door and was greeted by the royal mail carrier hello Mary got an invitation for you the royal mail carrier said thank you but I think the ball can wait until I'm in better shape to dance i said the royal mail carrier handed me the invitation but looked at me with a frown you don't look too healthy especially for being so close to delivering your baby you should probably go for a salad right now the royal mail carrier said concerned I desperately wish I could right now but you know my family from the letter I sent to Philip and aurora that my family will do everything they can to get rid of me I said then my sister walked by unannounced behind me your pregnant!? I thought you were just really fat! I'm telling mom! My sister said loudly I sighed trying to keep myself calm knowing that stress was not good for the baby the royal mail carrier looked at me with a slightly concerned face then he spoke again after a few moments of silence well I wish you good luck that your baby makes a healthy and safe entrance the royal mail carrier said thank you I'm just hoping it goes well I said with a sigh the royal mail carrier put a hand on my shoulder I'll be sending prayers every second the royal mail carrier said then he stepped aside allowing me to step out of the house and the moment I did my water broke.

Aurora and Philip were both out in the yard waiting for me along with the royal midwife I walked a few steps into the yard toward the royal midwife and Philip and aurora hey don't forget your death sentence and that includes your baby! My mother yelled i sighed and shook my head then the grand Duke approached me i in every circumstance forbid you to listen to her the grand Duke said thank you for the advice grand Duke but I already wasn't going to listen I said well your a clever royal already the grand Duke said then the royal guards ran past me Halt in the name of the prince! One yelled as they ran into the house I breathed a sigh of relief finally they're getting what they deserve i said good thing you sent us the letter as soon as possible Philip said gently as he grabbed my hands guiding me to a safe spot of the yard and I'm glad we got here as soon as we could aurora said soothingly rubbing my shoulder as I was finally helped to the ground Philip rubbed my hand as i laid my head against the grass aurora kneeling on my other side stroking my wrist then the royal midwife knelt to help me you'll be okay Mary just relax Philip said voice soothing and gentle okay Mary give me a big push the royal midwife said I could hear the screams of my mother and sister in the distance but I ignored it and focused on my baby I pushed as the royal midwife told me to and relaxed knowing Philip and aurora were both there to support me your doing great just breathe aurora said gently alright Mary your doing great just one more big push you got this the royal midwife said daddy I wailed not being able to hold it any longer it's okay sweetheart I've got you Philip said gently mommy's got you too aurora said I knew my days of torture were over and the sleeping beauty family was now mine and my little baby would grow up among a family that would love her or him I knew that whatever the gender of my baby was I knew the love surrounding us would not be small okay Mary you did great here you go the royal midwife said gently as she laid my baby on my chest then she covered it in a large blanket it's a girl the royal midwife said that's wonderful I've already have a name picked out i said oh really? What have you decided? The royal midwife asked Samantha although I had decided on a different name if it was a boy i said well be happy with what you have been given the royal midwife said.

Wow she is gorgeous the grand Duke said in surprise smiling down at Samantha knelt by my side yes she is I said as Samantha happily nursed waiting nine months was worth it wasn't it? A member of the Royal court asked yes it sure was i said well you still owe us twenty dollars! My mother yelled I smiled competively oh I do huh well go and fetch I said launching the money out of a balloon launcher and don't come back! I exclaimed as they ran after the money let's hope they don't one of the Royal guards said I'm praying they don't come back or worse ruin the ball i said with a sigh they won't ruin the ball since we are the ones hosting it we won't let them in Philip said Samantha had finished nursing and fell asleep aurora carefully dressed her without waking her then I stood and stretched relieved that it was over and that my mother and sister were getting what they deserved all those years of torture made me stiff i feel you being stiff is not fun the grand Duke said i would agree as well you wouldn't be able to dance on the dance floor with stiff muscles aurora said yes that's right Philip said fixing my crown well it has been a very exciting morning but what do you say we head home? The coachman asked yes please if I had one wish right now it would be too get as far away from here as possible and forget this place even exists i said my royal mom and dad stood and hugged me tightly don't worry about a thing we've got it all covered aurora said and Samantha will be in good hands with our royal care taker Philip added as everyone walked to the royal coach aurora climbed in first setting Samantha gently on her lap then I climbed in next to her and Philip climbed in last next to me and then everyone else climbed into their coaches and started heading towards the palace.

When we arrived the trumpets sounded announcing our arrival then the coaches stopped in the front and Philip stepped out first then he helped me out and last he helped aurora with Samantha to step out of the coach when everyone was safely out of their coaches all the royal guards went back on duty and the grand Duke, the royal court and the royal midwife escorted us inside the palace the moment we walked in we were greeted by a welcoming party for me and Samantha hello Mary may I take Samantha? Sarah the royal caretaker asked of course you may I said handing Samantha to Sarah then Betty the royal nurse greeted Samantha and me hello Mary how's Samantha doing? Betty asked good she's asleep right now after I fed her i said that's great don't worry she's in good hands you enjoy yourself Betty said then the royal midwife followed them upstairs to the nursery and we headed to the ballroom as we entered the music suddenly stopped why did you stop? It was getting good in here! I exclaimed excitedly at this the band began playing again now that's more like it i said satisfied with how it was going then my dad came back with a cookie which I accepted after eating it my dad and I ran onto the dance floor just don't make me lose a shoe I said it's a deal my dad said then we joined the other partners and danced for a long while until the music slowed to a waltz but we didn't stop we waltzed around the dance floor to different areas of the dancing guests then the music sped up again to a tango but we again didn't stop we danced through the guests back and forth until the music sped up even more to the quick step and once again we didn't stop we danced and my dad twirled me and finally the music changed into a much faster waltz and my mom joined us on the dance floor this time I stepped back and watched as my dad and mom enjoyed the dance with each other by twirling and diping then the music switched back into a slow waltz.

My dad and me waltzed like we did before and my mom watched then my dad twirled me again and met me into a low dip then we met back up again and continued to waltz with the other guests Mary? My dad asked yes dad? I asked welcome to the royal family my dad said twirling me again I was brought to shock at hearing him say that and was at a loss for words Philip are you serious? Am I and Samantha really living here? I Asked in shock yes you are forever and don't call me Philip call me dad my dad said as he twirled me again and the same goes for me that witch is not your mom anymore I am so don't call me aurora call me mom aurora said okay then mom I said with a laugh my dad burst out laughing but my mom didn't think it was funny well if you insist on telling jokes until the party is over it's fine with me my mom said then she left the ballroom as a servant was coming in with chocolate pudding pudding miss Mary? The servant asked yes please thank you I said politely taking a bowl of pudding and a spoon the party lasted late into the evening then all the guests left and the servants began cleaning up well that was a fun party what a wonderful way to welcome new members of the royal family dad I said well it wasn't just me your mom did most of the party preparations my dad said after I finished my pudding we went upstairs to cheek on Samantha was she asleep the whole time? My dad asked she must've been tired after this morning I said well she slept the whole ride home so I'm not surprised that she slept through the party my mom said yeah well you know babies I said after a while of hanging in Samantha's nursery we went into my new stateroom i changed into a night gown and my dad tucked me into bed and blew out the candle goodnight sweetie see you in the morning my mom said then they left my room closing the door only halfway i then fell asleep after a few moments happy to have a daughter and a new royal family that loved me.
