Everyone was preparing for the royal ball with the chefs cooking the food, the servants setting up the tables and the band doing rehearsals good morning Mary do you mind bringing this out to the desert table? One of the servants asked oh not at all i might as well help out since I don't have anything else to do i said taking the bowl of pudding from Andrea oh good I was hoping you would be willing to help and not have Samantha take up your time Andrea said oh no she is not taking up all of my time sure i visit her from time to time but she's safe under the care of Sarah and Betty i said well of course and I bet they caught the one who did it to you? Andrea asked i sighed sadly I hope so being a mother is such a beautiful thing but I just was not ready for it to fall on me this early i mean I had plans for it in the future but some drunk maniac had to forcefully come along and.... I said Andrea put a hand on my shoulder he had to come and ruin it for you didn't he? Andrea said i nodded the only question I have is why me? I'm only fourteen how could i take the responsibility? I asked careful not to drop the bowl of pudding I know it's rough when things like this happen Andrea said i suddenly felt my dad behind me it's almost party time my dad said great the desert table just needs one more thing and it will be ready i said that's wonderful my dad said i can't wait for start time Andrea said excitingly I can't either i just hope that maniac doesn't manage to get into the kingdom i said sighing as I walked toward the ballroom my dad and my mom followed me as I entered the ballroom and went over to the desert table then place the bowl of pudding down next to the spoons and small bowls.

I sighed as I turned around to both of my parents sensing I was worried about the safety of Samantha you don't need to worry I put all the gaurds on high alert and watch my dad said rubbing my shoulders and Samantha's in good hands everyone here will work hard to protect her and whoever did it to you will never get to see her even if he wants to my mom said I nodded and managed to smile well you know I bet you'll be too busy having fun to even think about it my dad said yes I know your right dad but it's still hard to forget about it i said my dad warped me in his arms and nuzzled my cheek I know it is sweetheart just think about the good things you have Samantha that's a good thing you have to focus on right? And it's been six weeks since we brought you both home she's about five weeks old now? My dad asked i nodded with a smile happy to have at least one good thing happen to me well the guests will be here in a minute why don't we go check on Samantha my mom said okay I said sighing you guys sound amazing keep up the great work i said giving the band a thumbs up the conductor of the band smiled at me then they went back to practicing we walked out of the ballroom and upstairs to Samantha's nursery and walked in hello Sarah how's she doing? I asked cradling Samantha in my arms oh she's doing fantastic she's gotten so big already i bet she'll be really good at the dance lessons when she gets older Betty said I smiled proudly knowing that Samantha was doing great and the fact that she smiled at me for the first time ever then unexpectedly she laughed I looked back at my dad who returned the smile back i bet you love it here don't you princess? I asked playfully poking her little nose Samantha laughed which made me smile you cute little thing I said how's it going downstairs? Betty asked great everything's ready and it's almost time for the ball to start my dad said well that's fantastic I hope you two have fun Betty said thank you i said putting Samantha back into her crib we better head down the guests will be here in one minute my dad said i nodded and took his hand then we made our way back downstairs once we made it back into the ballroom the trumpets sounded announcing the arrival of the guests then all the guests started coming into the ballroom filling it with excited chatting and laughter.

I stood at the far end of the room near one of the food tables my dad and my mom stood on either side of me you nervous? My dad asked not at all I said me neither my dad said I wasn't nervous for any reason because the welcome party gave me confidence and courage to dance and play at any party including the ball do you ever have confidence in me? My mom asked well of course why wouldn't I? I asked oh I don't know just curious my mom said I looked at my dad confused but my dad just shrugged at me and grabbed me to get onto the dance floor ladies and gentlemen welcome to the very first royal ball of the year we are delighted to share the love and the laughter with all of you this evening and now please join us in counting down to the start of the Royal ball! The announcer said then the countdown started 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 ,2, 1, LET THE ROYAL BALL BEGIN the announcer said guests cheered then they each grabbed a dance partner as the band began playing a waltz was first Dance they played we began waltzing in the front of the guests you should see how great your doing right now my dad said I wish I could but I can only see the world through my own eyes and not yours I said wow how did you get this smart? My dad asked I don't know i guess I was just born this way I said my dad smiled at me as we continued to waltz until the song ended the guests cheered Wonderful there's so many wonderful guests this evening it's just like floating on air but wait we are just getting started and there's so many beautiful people here this evening that dance so beautifully the announcer said not to mention gorgeous I said my dad smiled at me and gently squeezed my hand that he held against his chest while we still had our hands placed on each other's backs waiting for the next dance now how about if we speed things up a bit? The announcer asked then they began playing a palka we began dancing and pretended no one was watching us Philip twirled me then I knew I was glad to be a part of the Royal family now and not be surrounded by my mom and sister's abuse and I was also happy that I had a beautiful five week old daughter my dad dipped me when the dance ended then we decided to take a little break and grab some food and a desert we walked over to one of the food tables and grabbed plates i filled my plate then grabbed some napkins and a fork and knife then I waited for my dad to fill his then we headed over to the desert table I grabbed a spoon and grabbed a bowl of pudding my dad grabbed one as well and we headed to an empty table and sat down but little did I know my mom had gotten the same food and desert as we did and followed us to the Same table why were you ignoring me? My mom asked why weren't you dancing with us? I asked well I was watching you have fun I suppose my mom said really just watching? Well don't you ever want to run onto the dance floor? Dad asked playfully punching her arm.

Well I suppose I do but I was having fun watching you two my mom said well alright then we will be dancing if you want to talk my dad said as both of us got up and threw out our empty plates and bowls then we ran back onto the dance floor and began dancing as the quick step was once again being played my dad twirled me around as the song ended and the guests cheered as loud as they could then the announcer spoke again there are some lovely guests here this evening and now I think it's time to bring out the elegance of this evening's royal ball let's get a waltz if you please kind gentlemen! The announcer said we grabbed each other's hands and placed our other hands on each other's backs then the music started and we began to waltz very sweetly i definitely felt beautiful inside and out this has been the most wonderful evening ever i said I agree with you my dad said then my dad twirled me as the song ended you were wonderful my dad said as the guests cheered there are lots of lovely ladies and handsome lords here this evening it's like we're walking on air and now grab your friends and grab your true loves as we present to you the Cinderella waltz the announcer said the waltz started and we started dancing there was nothing i loved more than the royal parties my mom and dad threw they were always the most fun we continued dancing then the dance ended and the guests cheered wow things are getting wild in here now is everyone enjoying themselves!? The announcer asked the guests cheered and clapped i laughed at the excitement of everyone as I stood close to my dad he smiled at me as we waited lords and ladies it is now time for our final dance so grab your true loves, grab your friends and grab your sweethearts as we finally come to the quick step be careful not to step on your true love's shoe the announcer said as the music started we grabbed each other's hands and began dancing this dance helped me to realize i wasn't a nobody in this world I was a someone in the kingdom I laughed as my dad twirled me four times before dipping me as the final song ended beautiful beautiful this has been a spectacular evening but now it's time to bid goodbye have a wonderful journey home and goodnight the announcer said then the band began packing up and the guests were all heading home then my dad grabbed both of my hands and kissed my cheek you were wonderful sweetheart my dad said thank you you were too I said then my mom met with us after helping a servant bring the food back into the kitchen wow you were beautiful my mom said thank you mom I said.

Well this evening has been absolutely wonderful but i think it's time to head up for a bath and then head to bed my mom said yes I said my mom and dad both grabbed my hands and we walked upstairs whare Faya one of the hygiene care maids was waiting for me alright aurora the bath is ready for you Faya said great I said as other maids helped me undress and step into the bath then Flora began washing me i heard you are a wonderful dancer Flora said I felt my cheeks go pink and I looked down shyly oh well I know I am I said as Flora finished with my evening bath Flora helped me step out of the bath and Faya dried me off then I changed into one of my night gowns and my mom and dad grabbed me by the hands and led me to my room I crawled into my bed and my mom closed the curtains and blew out the oil lamp while my dad tucked me in goodnight precious happy dreams my dad whispered kissing my forehead goodnight dad I said then my mom kissed my forehead you were wonderful tonight my mom whispered I know I said with a yawn then my mom and dad left the room I closed my eyes and fell asleep in minutes exhausted from the excitement from the ball.
