Pounding Heart Syndrome (Niall Horan Love Story)

Chpt. 2

I watched as the five boys tumbled out of the airplane tunnel thing. El, Dani, and Perrie scurried over to their boyfriends. I caught a glimpse of Daisy clinging to Louis's leg and Phoebe riding on Harry's back. I picked my way over to Niall and cautiously gave him a hug, as he seemed to be the only one without a greeting party.

"Nice to see you..." I said. Niall and I weren't the best of friends, but we did talk sometimes. He smiled at me, returning the words.

The flash of cameras around us blinded me. Screaming and shouting could be heard all over. I heard shouts of:

"Niall! Are you dating Louis's sister?"

"Louis! Why's your family hear?"

I wondered how Lou was handling this. He always get over-protective of Lottie, Fizzy, Phoebe, Daisy and I. Out of no where, Paul appeared and herded us towards the door.

"Wow! I didn't know you were magic Paul!" i exclaimed.

"I already deal with Louis and now you!" an exasperated Paul sighed. before entering El's van, the boys, girls, and, surprisingly, my sisters and I signed a few autographs and took a couple pictures.

We all piled into El's car, with Paul driving. It was a tight squeeze into the van, with Liam, Dani, El, and Louis in the back with Daisy and Phobe, Zayn, Perrie, Lottie, Fizzy abd I in the middle and Harry and Niall squeezing in the front. I finally got to say hello to the other boys. I missed them so much!

"Li-Li!" I squealed to my best friend. I launched myself into his open arms, jumping over a row of seats and almost kicking Fizzy in the head.

He chuckled and hugged me back.

"I missed you, too Shay Jay." He replied. After a few seconds, I detached myself from Liam jumped into Lou's waiting arms.

"Hey Shay Jay! How's things at home?" Louis questioned.

"Not the same without you!" I answered.

We soon arrived at our house, where mum showered the boys with hugs and kisses. Lottie, Fizzy, and the twins went off to do who knows what. The boys, El, Dani, Perrie and I settled on the couch. I pulled out my phone for a minute to text Alexa and Kyle, my best friends.

After my phone lay safetly on the table! I glanced at Liam and we sat in an unusual silence. At the same time, we burst out with, "Toy Story movie night!"

The others laughed at our weirdness. They then burst out with suggestions off horror movie marathon (Louis), the Justin Bieber movie (Niall), and The Notebook (the girls). After a long heated debate (that may or may not have include me beating Harry with a pillow) we agreed on Up. All of a sudden, the door bell rang, and bright red hair could be spotted throught the glass.

"Ooo, It's Shay's boyfriend!!" Louis taunted. Niall and Harry perked up at the mention of boyfriend, both a little sad looking. I got up after wacking Lou.

"Shudup! He's just a friend!" I replied. I open the door to reveal Kyle and Alexa, as well as Alexa's sister Courtney.

"Lexa!" I shouted as she catapulted towards me. "Hey Ky," I said to Kyle. They all enter the living room with me. We had set up sleeping areas on the floor for everyone, adjusting them a bit to allow space for Kyle, Alexa and Courtney, who was Lottie's best friend. Mum brought us cookies and bowls of candy and popcorn. I snuggled into my blankets and felt an arm wrap around me. Kyle. It was warm and comforting. I saw Niall looking harshly at Kyle across the room and Harry's upset face looked at the floor. Alexa glanced at me, and I shrugged. I think we were the only ones who noticed.

Ignoring the boys, I buried myself into Kyle's chest.

As I watched Doug run along the cliff to save Carl, Russell, and Kevin, I drifted off into a deep sleep.
