Off To Break

Ryujin breathed out a sigh of relief, loading up her last bag into the trunk of the car.

With summer swinging by so did the holidays, she didn't plan anything special though, driving back into town and working a little at Chan's car workshop was all that was necessary.

It's not like University isn't fun, who doesn't like those excessive frat parties and events happening every other day of the week? Though to her, driving back into town and reuniting with everyone sparked a different level of excitement.

Ryujin bid her last goodbyes to acquaintances she wouldn't be seeing over the Summer, before finally getting into the vehicle , fishing out out her phone to call Yuna, she's been waiting back home and as impatient as ever.

„Look who's calling! Are you already on your way? I've seen the majority arrive."

„No, but I just got into the car! I'll be driving down now, it's not too far anyway." She responds, letting her know before continuing, „How's mom doing?"

She felt Yuna's big smile at the end of the line as she asked, "Good! That Woman's soul is young. She also prepared a lot of food, if you don't hurry up I'll have a feast on my own." Yuna joked, They just get along like that.

,,You wouldn't dare! I'm gonna get going now though, i'll let you know when I drive into Town ." With that she hung up and put her phone aside, starting the car as she stepped on the gas to drive out of campus, man is she happy that she can put her major aside for the next 3 months.

It's about an hour drive maybe, not too far from the Capital which isn't stressful and way more convenient. The dorms at University were already controversial enough, not because she hated her roommate and best friend Chaeryeong, but the shared washing machines gosh, those really were nasty. Till her second year Ryujin did have to suck it up in a desperate attempt to find a good apartment with Chaeryeong to move in to, now that they succeeded she could stay at her shared apartment off campus and not care.

,,Look who's here," Yuna dragged as the eldest stepped out of the vehicle that had just now pulled into the driveway, ,,Are you sure you weren't speeding the entire way? It took less than I expected." She asked jokingly, being met with a flick on the forehead from Ryujin who was grinning at the sight.

,,I'll pretend you never said that, please spare me with the teasing." She replied and hugged her younger sister who was continuously rubbing her forehead in slight pain.

,,Yeah whatever! Now get your shit and carry it inside I will surely not help you with it after that stunt."

She laughed before responding, ,,Fair enough, I don't have a lot anyway." Ryujin then grabbed her three suitcases out of the vehicle and started off by bringing two inside, then going back to get her third and last one.

She then immediately went to the dining table in search for her Mother, and indeed she was there putting the last dish on the table.

,,Hello beautiful Woman!" Ryujin's face lit up at the sight of her Mother, immediately walking over to hug her tight. "I love how this is looking," She continued as her eyes go over the table filled with the meals they love so much.

,,Though you shouldn't have tired yourself like this."

Ryujin's mother shook her head in disagreement as she parted from the hug „Well It's good to have you back! And no, I did not tire myself, I was very motivated and Yuna helped me too." She spoke proudly, smiling over to Yuna in gratitude.
