Chapter 6

We've just gotten back from Velkan Mountain and everyone is in their dorm rooms on their own or who they share with. "Do you think us three will all survive and make it to graduation at the end of the year?" Kenny asks me and Stella "maybe, nobody really knows since death is everywhere but the only way is to pass all the courses and not die like that blonde one" I tell them both "yeah, she was stupid by running across" stella says slightly laughing nervously "you'll make it both of you" I tell them hoping it's true "you will as well with that brain of yours you know" they tell me "yeah sure" I say not fulling believing it and if I did make it it would my mother be proud of me for once in my life or would s he not care at all? Probably not even care since she says I'm my fathers daughter not hers and maybe I am just his daughter-

"Daddy, where is Mother?" I ask him as I never know when she'll be home since she is hardly ever home with us at all anymore "Don't worry, sweets" He tells me pulling me up onto the couch in the living room as he turns on a movie for me on as Roman is out with his friends "I love you" I say leaning on his shoulder "I love you too" he tells me as he strokes my head with his thumbs as I hold my bear close to me "I believe when your older and get into Eldritch Academy you'll be a healer or even a scribe" he tells me as I rub at my small eyes the front door opens "dad" Roman say coming towards where we are "in the living room" he say. "When do I go to the school when you are sixteen or seventeen you have a while" he tells me, messing my hair up "hey" I say frowning at him slightly as he laughs at me-

"Are you listening, Will?" Kenny asks me "Yeah, sorry" I say not knowing at all what they said since I was too busy in a memory with me and my dad. "Are you coming to dinner? She asks me as I sit on the top bunk "yeah I'm coming" I say moving over to stairway of the bunk bed as they walk over towards the door as I jump off of the bunk bed and slip on my black boot that go just over my ankles slightly as I wear these ones when I'm out of my room when we're doing nothing at all.

Once we make it to the cafeteria where everyone is at we walk straight over towards the food, I pick up a blue try as well as everyone else has. "What are you getting?" stella asks "some meat" kenny says placing a sausage on her plate that on the tray as I place some tomatoes and lettuce on my plate with other things as well and I grab a glass of water as the other have already left to a table that is mixed with boys and girls some I know in my year and older ones I don't at all. I sit next to Stella and some blonde boy that has curly blonde hair that goes past his ears slightly as I notice everyone else is eating some type of meat on their plates as I have healthy food. I placed some small tomatoes into my mouth "so how was your first day at the mountain?" someone asks "It was shit, people in here are so stupid they don't even look at all they go straight for it" the blonde boy says as I look down and it's true what he is saying about today in the cave. "Are we not going to say who everyone is for the new first years?" Aaron asks "shit, yeah" a male voice says "okay, well I'm Aaron Hugh in second year but you all probably know me from Professor Radell's class" Aaron tells us all as I look up seeing he has slightly tanned skin with dark brown hair as he is wearing all black like everyone else but has two stars on his jacket. "I'm Beau Muadel, A first year" the blonde boy next to me says he gives everyone a small smile "you sure are you little shit" A older boy that has the same kind of curly hair but his is dark brown but he has the exact same eyes as him, they look like brother but he is more good looking than his brother, I shouldn't be thinking this at all. "I'm Cian Muadel as everyone should know and I'm in year two" he tells everyone with confidence as he leans back in his chair and places a sausage into his mouth "you do know you'll have to eat meat once you have a dragon" he tells me and I nod slightly looking up behind Cian to see my brother coming over this way "shit" I mutter "what's wrong" stella whispers "my brother is coming this way, I need to go" I tell her as I see Roman looking at me angrily as I stand up and take my plates over to where all the cadets that have cleaning duties have to wash the dishes. "Why the fuck did you get INTO CLAW, WE ARE A FIRE FAMILY" roman shouts at me as I walk away "I don't know, I'm sorry" I say as I look down "your sorry, I'm sorry for mom that you were ever even born in this family" he tells me as I feel a sting in my eyes as I feel them get heavy but I hold the tears back.

Hold them, don't show emotions.

"Okay" I say as I speed walk past the table I was just at "where are you going" Aaron asks looking at me "I..I Nee..d to go" I tell him rushing off out of the cafeteria, down the halls and I open the door swinging it open accidentally hitting the wall as I run towards the other building where all the rooms are at. "Will," Stella's voice says as I hear it from a distance, making me stop slightly till I see Beau as well and rush off up the stairs to our room.

I hate him, So much I wish I wasn't in this family.

Once I make it in our room I quickly take my boots off.

Once I make it up on the top bunk I lay their till I hear the door swing open "will, what's wrong" she asks me and I close my eyes pretending to sleep since I don't want her to know what it's like in my family, I know they would be disappointed in me so why am I upset about this at all, I shouldn't be at all

Fuck family,

"She's asleep, I think" Beau says to stella "she can't be not that fast" stella says "Will, when your ready you can talk to me if you want" she tells me in a gentle tone "I'm not forcing you at all, I wouldn't do that" she tells me before she leaves the room, where I'm left all alone in my thoughts.
