“Mom?” Abigail hurriedly dashed into the grand hallway of their opulent villa, her heart racing with a sense of urgency and excitement. Despite her haste, she neatly placed her shoes in the cupboards before calling out for her mother once again. "Mom!" Her voice reverberated through the spacious halls, but there was no response. With mounting anxiety, she sprinted towards the kitchen, hoping to find her mother there. However, she only saw the servants' wide-eyed expressions as they bustled about preparing dinner.

"The rose garden," one of the servants spoke softly. She was the head maiden, and Abigail had known her for as long as she could remember. Magda had always been a constant presence in their household, caring for everyone and everything. Her word was law among the servants. Abigail approached the open slide doors and whispered a soft "Thank you, Mag" as she slipped through them.

The terrace welcomed her with a warm breeze and a stunning view of her sister lounging in the sun. Her perfect curves were displayed, and her golden hair was effortlessly styled in a messy bun that seemed to glow brighter than the sun. Abigail couldn't help but admire her sister's beauty as she made her way towards her. “Why so noisy, Abby?” Her sister purred, her eyes still hidden behind the thick sunglasses.

Abigail held a white envelope in her hand and waved it excitedly at her older sister, Elizabeth. Abigail printed the letter from her email box before coming home. Elizabeth, who was eight years older, took off her sunglasses and looked at Abigail with her warm caramel eyes. She felt a sense of pride as she gazed at her little sister.

“Liz, guess what's inside?” Abigail asked, her voice filled with anticipation.

“Abby, is this_?” Elizabeth's throat tightened as she struggled to speak. She wondered how Abigail managed to stay so composed in the face of such excitement. Abigail had always been a peculiar child - too reserved and guarded in every way. But as Elizabeth looked at her beaming face, she couldn't help feeling a wave of emotion wash over her.

Abigail's face lit up with a broad smile as she shared the exciting news with her sister, "I can't say it out loud yet. I need to tell our Mom first. But trust me, it is exactly what you are thinking!" Her sister's joy mirrored hers as she hugged Abigail tightly.

Liz wrapped her arms around her younger sister, a proud look on her face. "You did it," she whispered into Abigail's ear, her voice filled with admiration and love. She then jokingly slapped Abigail's ass, causing her to wince and step away from Elizabeth's embrace. The younger woman was always awkward when it came to physical touch.

Abigail's gaze drifted towards the rose garden, which was in full bloom and looked like a sea of pink and red. She walked towards the garden, taking in the sweet fragrance of the roses. The petals were soft and velvety, and Abigail felt a sense of calm wash over her as she strolled through the garden. “Mom?” She whispered as she noticed her mother on a bench.

As Abigail approached her mother, she noticed the gentle curve of her mother's lips and the lines etched around her eyes. Her hair, once a shining gold, was now turning a soft white, but her beauty remained steadfast. In her lap lay a bundle of roses, their vibrant colors and sweet fragrance filling the air. With deft hands, her mother carefully cut off the thorns on each stem, revealing the velvety petals underneath. Abigail halted and gently placed a small white envelope on top of the roses.
