During his winter vacation, Chwe Hansol had set out to discover the reason why his best friend Boo Seungkwan had a phobia of water if he came from one of the islands of South Korea, which is why under hundreds of claims for part of the young blonde, he accompanied him on his annual visit to Jeju.
From the beginning of their stay on the island they were received by the grandmother of the young man with golden hair, who lived in a beautiful two-story house, modest but charming decoration, you could notice the love for the sea that the long-lived lady, which made the discovery of the cause of Boo's phobia more confusing for Hansol.
"Hansol Vernon Chwe, are you listening to me!?" The boy with tender cheeks who managed to shake Hansol's world with his enigmatic actions demanded angrily.
"Sorry, my Boo was distracted." The tallest confessed, a little embarrassed after his constant distraction, but he couldn't complain enough to himself for that frequent deviation from reality because his thoughts oscillated around that boy with pink cheekbones and blond-haired and sweet face.
"You've been very distracted lately, Vernonie, grandma says she'll serve dinner in an hour. I have to go out, it won't be long." The older of the young men warned the one with hazel eyes who automatically interrupted him.
"You're going to leave me alone, I can accompany you" He begged, making eyes like an abandoned puppy in the rain, receiving a sharp response from Seung, which was a resounding "No." causing one of Chwe's typical tantrums, who used to was someone with a mature attitude but when it came to his hyung he was capable of behaving like a spoiled infant.
The shorter one, taking advantage of this event, stealthily withdraws from the room designated to the jet, to go down the stairs almost at the speed of light via the back garden which was a few steps from the beach, the good thing about this was that the construction of the walls that limited the house prevented anyone from observing what was happening in the vicinity of the house and the sea. Anyone who reconsidered the usefulness of this small wall would definitely be evading the curious glances of some visitors to the beach adjacent to grandmother's house.
The real reason for its origin was about fifty years ago when Seungkwan's grandfather carried out its architectural design, with the premise of protecting his wife's secret. The one with blonde hair launches into a nostalgic race towards the ocean, that place that he missed so much, where he came from, where he belonged. After entering the water, his legs transform into a beautiful light blue tail with golden details. He felt like he was breathing again. Despite his love for the human world, his marine half called him loudly and he would not deny this request of his nature. He appreciated in detail the beauty of the corals, the emerald green of the algae and the mischievous fish that played in the surroundings. Little by little he approached the deepest part of the waters that surrounded the island, observing the imposing and elegant appearance of what was once his home. As he approached, the citizens made a pompous bow towards the newcomer, who greeted them with a small bow of his head or by waving one of his hands in a solemn manner. He crossed the threshold of the castle, receiving the previous gesture from the castle's guards so that a duo of majestic-looking mermaids rushed towards the youngest with a warm hug.
"Kwannie, we have missed you so much, little tangerine." Said the young woman with black hair and a mature appearance, while the one with a jovial countenance did not stop affectionately squeezing the cheeks of the aforementioned man and then complemented her sister's idea.
"It is so necessary that you are studying with humans, it is not the same here without you."
"You already know that I finished my studies early at the school for mermaids and mermen, so I just have to learn about the human world, there is always something new, it's surprising, apart from the fact that grandma needs some company up there, noona." He explained patiently, causing the eldest of his sisters to caress his blonde strands of hair, while the other patted him on the shoulder. After about five minutes, two large figures approached the trio of brothers to the inhabitants of the underwater city of Jeju were nothing more than the king and queen, who were the parents of Boo Seung Kwan.
