"Why?...Ive tried every single route,every single choice...but yet it happens all the same. Is the kid really THAT unlucky? Or mabye i'm that unlucky. " Flowey said to himself,as he watched a silent Clover passing by yet again. He could almost recite what they were going to say to him.
That is until they did'nt. They walked right past him.
"Hey! Whats the big idea? Do you walk past everyone you see?"
No response.
There was something definitely up. They have Never walked past him before. Something also seems...off?
Flowey could'nt help but be dumbfounded,he was sure it was almost impossible for a route to be this different to others,even if it was a slightly minor difference.
He could only watch as they effortlessly traversed the ruins,snowdin,the wild east,the steamworks,and new home effortlessly,methodical even,until they reached the point of no return. Not once did they even really notice flowey,or need his help.
Something really was off. It made flowey slightly uneasy,which in itself was odd,as he did'nt really feel strong emotions like these much anymore.
Then he put something together. A lightbulb in his head finally went off.
"I think I've seen this before...it's almost like a sense of deja vu....much like what some monsters mentioned or recalled when I toyed with them before..but that begs the question...who could even reset besides me? I thought I was the only one?"
Clover.
Clover!
Clover!
Clover finally snapped out of it as their friends stared back at them,pink leaves of a nearby tree flowing in the wind and dancing around them in an almost poetic way. they finally realized....mabye it had to be this way? Was there truly no way to bring a happy ending for everyone.
But mabye...just mabye they could give their friends a happy ending.
