Chapter - 5

3RD PERSON POV

Her so-called adopted mother starts slowly walking toward her, with the little girl crawling backward scared of what's to come. at only 3 years old at the time they decided to adopt her. but what changed after that she didn't know. having been confused most of her life. why people's smiles changed to that of a snake, their eyes would beam with hatred towards her. even at the orphanage people were cruel to her for no reason. She would ask why but no one ever gives her straight answers. saying she doesn't deserve it or she was a greedy slut for breaking the rules. literally for every little thing. now crawling back she hits the wall. she looks petrified, Having know where to run or hide. She sighs, As she is about to give up. she hears a voice in her head. Don't give up your soulmates are here. she is taken aback by the voice yet it sounds almost familiar, under her breath she says, soulmates, what are soulmates? the two in front of her heard this and were a little surprised they didn't want her to know anything about the outside world. going back to the so-called punishment. the clown as she likes to call her. says, "So you want to know what soul mates are? you don't have any they don't want you why would they want a fat ugly girl like you? you be of no help to them. you'll always be a burden. since you don't have any that's good though since you won't be a bother to anybody." she thought to herself the way the clown was speaking to her. why does it feel like she is lying, plus her choice of words. she said them or they? and the voice said soulmates. that's plural. the little girl is actually clever in mind. but she has to pretend to be dumb sometimes to survive.

Meanwhile with BTS

on the other side of the window the guys were fuming mad, how could they say that to our soulmate especially a little girl at that. she looked about 7 or 8. BTS just wanted to go inside and hug and protect her. but what was weird to them was that their soulmate didn't know what soulmates were, Jin says. that's weird why doesn't she know what soulmates are, looking at Yoongi, he says, "I think they want her to be uneducated on a lot of things" he says with venom lacing his voice. Namjoon says, "So they will be able to control and manipulate her. the words slipping his lips with calm yet dark voice. Jin says, "To a child that's sick. If I get my hands on them I'll... he says while grinding his teeth and making a squeezing motion with his hands. before Jin could finish. Taehyung had to step in to defuse the tension from everyone. Even he was on the verge of losing it. but he had to tell them what was on his mind. Tae says, "The clown woman was using the words they or them. and I think our little soulmate here noticed. Having caught on to what Tae was saying Yoongi says, "Yeah Tae is right there was a slight change in her demeanor. Joon now standing next to Yoongi nods in agreement. Jimin says, so is she just pretending. To survive kook says out loud, the others look at him, Then at their little soulmate. Jin says, with sadness in his voice, "For such a small child she already thinking about surviving, everyone held a lot of different emotions inside their eyes. looking back at her they waited for more answers.

Meanwhile with Her

The man asks her, what got you so curious about soulmates anyway where have you heard that from? he says in a fake kind voice. the voice in the little girl's head told the child, 'Don't tell them you can hear me. The man was getting fed up with her not answering his question he yells loudly "BITCH ANSWER ME" The clown woman says, "Don't yell don't forget she's retarded you have to show actions. the woman grabs the child by the hair and yells in her face. WHEN WE ASK A QUESTION YOU ANSWER BRAT. the voice was so loud that it hurt her eardrums. causing ringing in her ears, and she didn't like the sound of it. knowing she can't yell back. she stays quiet. the woman yells again in her ear. the child whimpered at the sound. but says in a mumble, i..i..i h..eard y.ou t.t.o. STOP STUTTERING AND SPEAK CLEARLY IDIOT. the child couldn't help it. the pain combined with her nerves. and that only added to the fact that she has a minor speech impediment. the voice in her mind told her to breathe and think first what she wanted to say. trying her best she takes a deep breath, speaking she says again, I... heard.. you. b.b.oth talking about i.i.itt the other d.day. she says through the pain.
