Harry Potter woke up in cold sweat. Looking around frantically, he tried to make sense of his surroundings. He sighed in relief as he realised he was on his bed, in his dormitory. He reached out to his bedside table to grip his want. A familiar safe feeling immediately consumed him as he sighed once more. The nightmares had gotten worse and increased in frequency over the last few days.
Although this time, there was a difference, the eyes. He had never seen them before. An off fuzzy warm feeling overcame him thinking about them and his erratic heartbeat calmed down. He felt oddly relaxed thinking about them. Where had he seen those eyes before?
He looked at the time and internally groaned, there was no use in going back to sleep anymore- it was nearly time for breakfast. He grimaced and got out of his bed and headed to the bathroom for a quick refreshing shower to get his mind cleared. He couldn't stop thinking about the eye, they felt so familiar and comforting, they way they looked down upon him, he felt safe, lost in their beauty.
In twenty five minutes he got out of the shower and got dressed into his usual black robes. He assumed that Ron was already down and at breakfast due to his empty bed. Sure enough, once he got down, his two best friends, Ron and Hermione, were sitting there over at the Griffindor's table. He sat beside Ron who was busy stuffing his face with food, and he reached over for the eggs. "You look terrible Harry." Was Hermione's response as she peeled her eyes off the books she was reading to take a look at Harry.
"Good morning to you aswell Hermione." He said not looking at her but instead stuffing his face with eggs like the red head beside him. "Yeah mate, you look paler than the Bloody Baron. Nightmares again?" Ron asked with his mouth full of food. It was surprising about how he could even make a sound with his mouth on the verge of exploding. Harry merely nodded still not looking up while Hermione gave him a disgusted look.
Suddenly, Harry felt a strong feeling that someone was looking at him. Finally looking up, his eyes landed on a specific blond boy who was sitting at the Slytherin table staring at him, Draco Malfoy. Harry locked eyes with the boy to which the latter responded by blushing a crimson red and looking down at his plate. Harry shrugged it off and continued eating, thinking it was something else.... Malfoy wouldn't be blushing at Harry of all people- right?
