Peter and Verdaine exit the manor, stepping outside into the sunlit streets of Celembrick. The sun is shining bright, bathing the streets in an almost unnaturally vivid and vivid light.

“Celembrick only has one month of the year where it's visibly sunny— Bask in the sun as much as you wish” Vervaine said while smiling.

"You know... it's interesting that a city as gloomy as this one, filled with so much mystery and darkness, would only have one month of the year when it's visibly sunny... it's almost like a paradox."

Peter thinks to himself for a moment, before turning to his friend.

"I'm also surprised that you're so relaxed... this city has a very ominous and threatening aura about it... it feels... dark somehow…” peter said sweat dropping at his partner's casualty

“I just got used to it— Want to take a tour in the city brick-square? They have good deals during this month” Vervaine asked.

“aaaand maybeeee we can give you a tour?” Vervaine added.

The mention of good deals immediately catches Peter's attention. His interest is always piqued when it comes to anything related to deals and bargains.

"Deal hunting, you say? Now you have my attention... lead the way."

Peter follows behind Vervaine, following his friend's lead as they explore the city's square.

As Peter and Verdaine explore the city's square, Peter takes in the sights of the bustling market. The street feels alive and vibrant with activity, with vendors calling out deals and bargains to attract customers. It's a chaotic and energetic atmosphere, but it's not as hostile or tense as the manor.

Peter starts to notice some interesting items and wares for sale, and can't help but feel curious about some of them…

Peter feels his attention drawn to a nearby merchant who is selling some strange trinkets and items. He can't quite make out exactly what they are at first glance... but he can't help but feel intrigued. As Vervaine continues to walk further into the street, Peter decides to stay behind and investigate the mysterious merchant and its wares.

"Wait a minute... can... can I take a look at those trinkets for a second?” Peter asked.

The merchant looks over to Peter and gives him a cheerful laugh.

"Of course! I always welcome curious minds to my wares... you're looking at ancient artefacts here, all genuine and authentic... so, if I may ask, what caught your eye?”

Peter slowly picked up an intricate carving of an owl.

The merchant watches closely as Peter picks up the intricate carving of an owl. The carved statue seems to be fairly small in size, and is carved from a light purple stone. It has quite a detailed depiction of an owl, with its feathers and beak carved into the stone meticulously and with great care. The merchant seems to be watching and waiting to see what Peter does next…

As Peter holds and examines the carved owl statue, he feels a sudden feeling of unease as he stares at the owl. The feeling is quite strange, as if an ominous aura is somehow emtering from within the owl's eyes...

Peter suddenly feels a strange urge to put the owl statue back, as if he shouldn't be holding it for too long…

Peter tries to brush off the feeling of unease, as he looks closer at the stone owl, trying to ignore the ominous atmosphere that seems to be emanating from the carving. But the feeling only grows stronger, eventually overwhelming Peter with a strange wave of unease that makes him feel increasingly uncomfortable…
