Well. This was not what DrRETRO expected when she got onto this floor.

Mostly, the reason she got on was because she was curious and wanted something to do since she was, you know, bored. She'd gotten on the elevator in the first place because she was bored but it didn't really help. She had watched as the wheel spun and landed on reroll, then landed on reroll again, then landed on death... She was fine, at least. She couldn't say the same for almost all of the other strangers that were on but, meh, that sucks for them.

Her concern was only raised when the elevator's doors closed and she wasn't brought back onto it despite the fact everyone else was. She didn't let herself get TOO worried, she'd noticed that sometimes people were brought back right when the elevator left, but... it disappeared, and she still wasn't on there even after a few seconds of waiting.

The wheel started spinning again. She was the only one there, except for that purple girl RETRO had noticed earlier. Oh shit. Was RETRO really trapped here? Damn it, how was she supposed to get back?

Several more rounds happened, RETRO surviving them mostly because of her ability to heal herself. While just standing in a corner as those.. red ball things flew around the room, she noticed that purple girl had gotten down and was going over to the wheel. Huh.. she was.. kind of pretty. RETRO tried to wave at her, but didn't even get a glance in response. She was about to say something but then got hit in the head with one of those stupid balls, hissing slightly when it hit her.

The purple girl seemed to notice that, and finally looked over at her, but.. that was it. She was just looking at her. It seemed like she was trying to ask something with her expression, but RETRO couldn't tell what. All the cat-like girl could do was just slightly tilt her head confusedly in response.

RETRO noticed the other girl's gaze seemed to linger on her a bit longer than most people's, but just shrugged it off. She was most likely just trying to make sure she was okay. RETRO looked down at the ground and tried to entertain herself with her thoughts. What was she going to do if she was really stuck here? She had no idea. What-

The lights suddenly went off and the room suddenly went darker. RETRO quickly looked up, startled. The purple girl looked over at her. "...Sorry about that." She didn't really sound too caring or apologetic in the slightest, but she still sounded just as pretty as her appearance was. RETRO just nodded in response.

The two were in silence for a little, Mach trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with this wheel. She'd just checked everything a few hours ago today and it was all fine, but of course it had to break now and keep one person there the entire time that would have to go through all of this. She would've much rather just have dealt with this alone without the presence of that weird cat.. creature, but oh well. She just had to get this over with quickly enough and pray the Regretevator would come back soon after so she wouldn't have to deal with them for much longer.

The more Mach kept thinking about and looking at that odd cat person though, the more she felt herself slightly drawn to and curious about them. Maybe she could keep them for a while after fixing the wheel by just pretending like it'd fix itself in a while, or something. Maybe.

She didn't know why she wanted to spend time with them. She never really cared that much about anyone. Maybe the reason would just come to her eventually.

Hopefully.
