IM NOT GUILTY!

Hike Chapter 5

The next day ...

It's Saturday so that means no school I'm glad I needed a break from all the drama back in town plus I can't go to school for two days. Turns out your not aloud to slap people on campus so I got suspended . I have to go back either way I don't feel good about her being there alone with Ryan . I'm hiking the mountain right now to get as far away as I can from the city.

As Rebecca hikes up she reaches the top but wants to go farther . Rebecca hikes up the mountain and notices a cabin she walks towards it but hesitates to keeping going. She walks slowly and cautious and reaches 5 feet away. She ducks behind a tree and thinks.

"Should I go in or stay most people who do go into the woods run into a cabin they usually don't ever return. I should just take a picture and come back with Ryan or Tony yeah that sounds good."

She turns to take a picture and right when she does a man looks at her . He reaches for her phone but she pulls away. He grabs her and starts to fight her Rebecca screams and he smacks her. She passes out.

1 hour later Rebecca wakes up at the bottom of the mountain . Her face brutally bruised from the hit. She searches through her bag frantically to find her phone. She doesn't have it and starts to cry. She hurries down the street and didn't know where else to go . The closes house was Ryan's so she walked over and knocked on his bedroom window . He opens it and sees Rebecca's face he panics and pulls her through . His mood changes to anger and comfort.

" who did this to you?!"

"I-I don't k-know I couldn't see his face I just remember him hitting me." Crying

"It's ok but when we find him I'll show him a piece of my mind."

He wraps his arms around Rebecca and pulls himself closer to her . She cries on his shoulder remembering her love for him.

At Rebecca's house....

She sits in her room with a black eye. She opens her laptop and does research on any cabins on the mountain . The laptop said "NO RESULTS FOUND."
She freaks out picks up her laptop and throw it at the wall. Her mother comes in and sits next to Rebecca . Rebecca has a nervous break down . Her mother hugs her.

"Mom I don't know what to do anymore!" Cries

"Hun listen to me your my amazing smart daughter don't listen to anything people say about you ok promise me you'll be brave ."

"B-But ok fine I'll try . If I give up it's not my fault ."

"You have to fail things to complete others hun."

Rebecca's mother kisses her forehead and leaves the room.
