2 hours 20 minutes...

Miu sized up this Queen, almost unnerved that there was someone who knew Kokichi. She tried racking her brains for everyone's friendships outside of their own cast before remembering about a group of mischievous people that hung around with Kokichi and who people betted were going to be killed real quick for the shenanigans they pulled off.

In the end, Miu still lost a lot of privileges and had to do a lot of favours after losing that bet badly. In other words, it's a miracle that Kokichi and his friends were alive. The same couldn't be said to many others, which made it all too easy for the majority of the kidnapped and damned here to be envious of such a group.

It was what the cast felt when Kokichi made it into the selection and a part of the Ultimate Inventor in her would go so far to speculate the reason everyone had disdained Kokichi beyond what would be deemed reasonable even with his chaotic and unwarranted mischief in the serious killing game was some residue prejudice from their pre-game selves. That was somehow enough for a kind of muscle memory on conviniently overlooking any good traits Kokichi had that resulted him in being an extremely distrustful person throughout the game.

Still, Miu did her best not to let any envious feeling or prejudice to bias her judgement over someone that suddenly called themselves an ally. Miu's memory caught up that some of the cast weren't kidnapped alone, with Kokichi as a prime example with his band of misfits.

Unfortunately, not many had alive company just for the sake of their 'character's story' if some people here had been kidnapped with friends and family, even as homeless teens or runaways. Kiyo's sister, Ryoma's girlfriend, Angie's friends which in hindsight could have been ADR members mercilessly killed to thin the opposition even though it seemed none were the wiser about Angie's involvement in the ADR...

"Otouto-chan... you... I... am sick but they... they can't..."

"Nee-san, I didn't... want this either. Why... I... I can't be- I just... just want to..."

"Never... never let them defile... I heard about... the forbidden... we... we aren't..."

"They... they are crazy..."

"Ryoma! You... you can't let-"

"I will kill you! I WILL KILL YOU ALL!"

"Ryo-"

"Quiet, you! Now, the birth of the depressed, suicidal Ryoma Hoshi has begun!"

"Alone, you will always be alone... alone. You can only believe..."

"A higher power up... Atua... because..."

And that was just what she remembered stumbling about, even listening in morbid curiosity before rabbiting away. Indeed, all have been killed just to authenciate the backstory, with those negative feelings still stuck with them for the VR world even if they weren't completely sure why that had brought out the realism.

Miu had been someone kidnapped on her lonesome, so she had no friends here to fall back for and although there were a few of the cast members with their only company outside the game killed off, Miu remembered Maki's brats who had rallied to her as if she was some guardian and Rantaro's sisters which he wouldn't even confirmed whether they were blood related or just rallying to him as if he was big brother material.

Miu, still cynical even after spending a lot of time in the hopeful presence of Gonta Gokuhara, was more inclined to believe that any friends outside the cast would rather take the opportunity that Makoto offered no matter how suicidal if it meant ending this horrid situation of theirs.
