Chapter Two

Aki's POV

In this chapter we'll meet one of Aki's best friend and find out another thing ;) Hope you guys like it. :)

After I was done changing I ate some fruit and drank the orange juice. For some reason the juice was extra sweet and I loved it. Nana is a great person.

"I hope the ball goes well and I don't mess up dancing with my friend Momo-chan" I said with a gentle smile. Momo is such a great person, she truly knows everything about me.Well expect that I don't like girls.

I want to tell her tonight at the royal garden after we finish dancing the opening dance. I hope she'll understand and she'll support me. I mean I already like Mao. God he is hot and did I mention he's the youngest general and head knight in the kingdom.

He's eyes are as blue as the sea and his hair is as gold as the sun. He could be a god for all I care. I met him when I was in the garden one day. At the time he was just training. He was 14 & I was 8 years old. I giggled and headed towards the door.

(I'll tell the story some other chapter.)

I open the door and next thing I new I was on the ground. "Oww!!" I yell and rubbed my head. "What the heck Momo! I just got cleaned and all dressed up. You're lucky that we're friends." I look at her annoyed a little and a half ass smile.

"I-I'm sorry Aki-chan but I wanted to tackle hug you!" she looked at me with puppy eyes.

Who would be annoyed at that face. "You're forgiven, only because I say so and not because of those puppy eyes. Now get off of me" I said.

"Haha okay" she said and looked at me with her regular bright smile but it looked a little off today. Her smile said something else & I new it.

"Hey Mo?" I say as I get up. "Is there something bothering you?" I said. At first there wasn't any response then she spoke.

"It's just you look so great in you're outfit. Anyone would fall in love with you. Haha don't worry I won't fall in love with you because I already like someone." She giggled and hugged me.

I hugged her tightly and whispered. "After the opening dance let's head to the royal garden, I need to tell you something very important" I said.

"Sure thing and I also want to tell you something" she said.

Nana interrupted us and told us to stop blabbing and hurry along to the ball room. Even though it was still early she didn't want to be a minute late. "Now stop wasting time and hurry up" Nana said.

Momo took my hand & lead me to the ball room entrance. I haven't really noticed that Momo was extra cute today. Her dark black hair was braided as all ways and the braids had what looked like golden rain drops. Her eyes were very silver and it almost looked like they had stars in them.

Mo really has changed since 3 years ago. She's more grown up now even though she's one year older than me. You can say she's my older sister that looks out for me. Mo-chan pokes me on the stomach. I chuckle a little.

"What was that for?" I say. She looks at me and smiles.

She pointed at something "Isn't that Mao?" she whispered.

In response to those words my cheeks felt warm and I had little butterflies fly around my stomach. I look towards where she was pointing and it was Mao. I couldn't believe my eyes. He really did show up just like he said in the letter. At least one good thing happened today on my birthday.

He was talking to one of the knights. Mao caught me looking at him. He waved at me and gave me the brightest most warmest smile I've ever seen. He finished talking to the knight and walked over where Momo, Nana and me were standing. I smiled and looked at him with tears in my eyes.

"MAO!!!" I yelled and ran towards him with my arms wide open.

Once I reached him I hugged him tightly and cried tears of joy. I felt his arms warp around me and right that intestine I felt completely safe.

"I've missed you so much Mao. It's been ages since I've seen you" I say.

Mao whispered in my ear "I've been waiting for this day Aki" and with that he kissed my forehead.

Nana was smiling I could tell but I don't know about Mo. "Well I guess I'll take my leave. All three of you have a lot to caught up. Just remember you have only a couple of minutes. And Mao, it's great to have you back" Nana said. She left after she said that.

"Nana never changes does she?" said Mao

I chuckle and look up at Mao "haha nope Nana never changes no matter what happens. She's always like that." I say.

"Hey I want to hug Mao too! I've missed him as well" Momo laughed a litte when she said that.

"Oh uh yeah" I blushed more and slowly unwrapped my arms around Mao. I've totally forgotten that they were siblings since they are completely different.

"Onii-chan!! I've missed you a lot. You've had me worried and you could have given mother a heart attack! Is father with you?" she said.

"Sorry about that, I'll write more next time I leave haha. Father didn't have time to come because he's gotten another boast to second knight in honor of the European Kingdom." Mao said.

"That's fantastic!" me and Mo say.

"Yeah it is and I hope I can catch up and be first knight in honor" said Mao.

Well that's for now hehe. I'm getting so into the book too! Next chapter I'll tell you guys about how they meet and how Aki fell in love with Mao and probably more details hehe. Okay bye-bye
