Vladimir's Pov

Today is the day I fired my assistant, not because she wasn't good at her job, or because she screwed up...no, no; she was fine, she just wasn't her. I fired her because today I will start interviewing someone else, I already  know who will have the job.

Excitement runs thru my veins as I recollect the first time I saw her. It was a year ago, I was heading to the company when I stopped at a red light, she was crossing the street in a hurry. The first thing I noticed about her was that she was all dressed in black: black dress, black stilletoes, black purse, not a single drop of color, it appeard as her main goal was to blend in the crowd, without realising that she stands out like a drop of ink on a white papersheet. I instantelly became obsessed with her, because who wears black on a torrid day of July?

The second thing that draw me to her was her face, although it was probably the most beautiful face I ever saw it wasn't what captivated me, it was her expression as it seemed that the whole world belongs to her, such fierceness as though nothing can break her and I decided then that I must test my teory. I must have her if only to see if I can break her.

Don't get me wrong...I don't love her, I am obsessed with her and I will make her mine it doesn't matter if I have to plot everything or to make our meeting seem like a  coincidence. Since that day I searched for her everywhere, for a while I almost gave up that was until last month when my best friend handed me a bunch of CV's as he was in need of a new assistant and he wanted my input. That's when I saw her again, Katya Anders, 27 years old, finished her degree in human resources at one of the top  universities in London. I instantly offered my assistant to my best friend to get rid of all the "hustle" with hiring a new one. He seemed pleased with my decision...even so we had to wait until she came back from her leave to proceed with all the formalities.

"Good morning Tasha" I greet her as I pass before her empty desk "Are you excited for the new role you're starting?"
"Don't get me wrong, sir, although I will somehow miss you and your overbearing commands I am greatful for the pay rise. Who would have thought that being an assistent for the CEO pays less than being one for his subordinate?" She replies.

I chuckle as I was the one who suggested a pay rise for her, again she was not an incompetent assistant, in fact she was quite good and she deserves every penny, but I just wanted to hire Katya as my assistant; personal assistant in fact. I already imagine her roaming around my office, in a tight dress and high heeled shoes and I start to feel uncomfortable. Luckly my thoughts are interrupted by my former assistant:

"By the way sir, Katya Anders is waiting in the lobby for her interview, let me know when you're ready so I can let her up" the sound of her name does wanders to my imagination again as I say "let her up" and enter my office.
