Ella's POV
It was Valentine's Day and nothing. No roses like the films, no chocolate Harry wasn't even in the bed when I woke up.
All I got on valentines was a wrinkled post it says 'of to shop, taking Noah be back soon'
I never really cared for valentines before it was just me and Noah. I'd wake him up with some sweets or a new toy.
But the way Harry was talking about it was as if he was planning something. He'd always say stuff like "can't wait for the 14th"
So why wasn't he here?
Leaving me alone on a day that was so important to him.
By the time Harry got home I had been up for almost 2 hours. I had watched 10 things I hate about you and began watching clueless.
I hadn't brushed me teeth or hair, i hadn't washed my face or done anything I got up and put the TV on straight away.
I was eating a pack of double stuffed Oreo's and a Dairy Milk chocolate bar for my breakfast. My excuse? It's Valentine's Day.
When Harry walked into the living room I was curled into a ball in the corner of our corner sofa.
"You just get up?" he asked
"Nope" I said sitting up so I could look around him at the TV.
"What you watching?"
"Clueless" I say grabbing an Oreo.
"No" he says taking the Oreo out of my hand "you alway tell Noah he's not allowed chocolate for breakfast"
"But it's Valentine's Day" i inform him.
"That's not the excuse you think it is" he laughs putting the Oreo in him mouth as he leaves the room.
Later that day I was in the bedroom finishing off some course work I have. When there was a knock and a piece of paper pushed under the door.
I picked up the paper and it said
Roses are red, violets are blue,
On this day of love, I'm asking you,
Will you be my Valentine, my dear,
To share this day, filled with cheer?
Together, we'll create memories to treasure,
In this journey of love, let's find pleasure,
So, my dear, I ask you with all my might,
Be my Valentine, my guiding light.
Then another note got slid under and in Noah's messy handwriting he wrote
Met me and daddy at 7:30
So we can go for valintins day dinner
Love you mummy
I smiled. He did this. My boys were taking me out.
