This is where the town where Robert,Miranda and Matthew intentionally light the city on fire to end the torture and horrible memories
I stood atop the hill my back to the rest of them muttering the words " I want to end this city, burn it down, I want to get rid of this place and I know that you all agree on that? Or thats what I assume" I questioned without turning my head to look back at their faces that were confused as to my motivations for commuting such treason and arson. " Robert, we understand that you're angry but this is no reason to lash out at James Salan especially the innocent people down below" Miranda spoke up as if leading a revolution against my acts. " I have no reason to hurt the innocent I just want to get my revenge on those who have harmed me in unimaginable ways" They stood their shock and glanced away from me hoping that I would realize that I how was a horrible idea and to let all the pain wash away. I grabbed a match box from inside my pocket and furiously opened it before lighting it along with other matches allowing the city to go up in flames. Everyone inside was sound asleep, no idea of the chaos that was occurring outside of their houses. I soon realized the horrors of my ways as the fire quickly spread to every building trapping every family in an inferno of death clenching them squeezing the life out of them until they gave up fighting. As I watched onward at the despair I heard the muffled cries of Lily and James but I had tuned them out because of my own sorrow I felt at myself for causing such an event out of lust for revenge.I fell to the ground I never would have understood how powerful the fire would become, it was all my fault I only wanted to send a warning to them. I saw them finally jumping from their windows running around like ants.
After the fire had died down we went down to inspect and see if anyone had survived such an event. I saw out of the corner of my eye the weird girl holding hands and kissing Lily and my hands clenched into fists with jealousy.
(He finds some remnant of the building and hopes that everything will end and that they can now live peaceful lives but little does he know the horrors that will occur during the sequel. James Salan survives and some of the children during the commotion run out of the walls deep into the forest fearing for a their lives and lives to not die to the fire that has now engulfed the city that once was bursting with life.)
I saw something charred and burnt near the west side of the wall. I could make out that it was the remnant of Section B where I once lived. I picked it up quickly stashing it into my pocket surveying my head as to see if anyone saw me put it in my pocket.
I looked at the entrance where we had entered through and saw that weird girl holding hands with Lily again and this reimbursed my anger deflecting it at anyone, anytime. I remained at a distance as to not interfere and quickly made my way to where the poor had once inhabited and wondered about the many torturous nights they endured and how I easily overslept them always being my parents obedient pet and following every command. It angered me to my core that I had to sit down and bury my head in my legs to finally calm down.
" Hey Robert, something on your mind?" Someone whispered into my ear suddenly. I tried to play it off as nothing, but I felt something was off. In my mind I though of the possibilities of a new life for me but it seemed out of my grasps because I had no legal guardian whilst my real parents ashes were somewhere around here but there was no point in trying to identify the remains of the bodies.
" Yeah I'm fine, how about you go talk with the girls I think I need some time to forget about this place. I also would appreciate it if you could please leave me alone?" I asked trying my best to sound polite without raising my voice " Okay, I understand we all want to leave this place behind forget the horrific deaths and murders that occurred in this very spot. But that's no reason to hold back on emotions that are years old-" I interrupted him speaking to let him understand why these photos and items meant so much to me. " You don't understand! Do you I've lost everything there is no point in going back there and you cannot make me. These memories are the only things I have left of what my so called family were and I rather remember that I had a family then forget!" I screamed through sobs uncontrollably and making the others uncomfortable and I walked away trying to make sure that none of them saw me vulnerable. I didn't like all the attention that was on meJames Salan pov:
Those little bratty kids always getting in the way of things, when I get my chance I will make sure that they will regret ever crossing paths with me.
