"Autty" Ace says
"Hmm?"
"We gotta go, stop gaping over a sunset."
Annie is next to him.
"What about Alec?" I ask looking around for My twin brother.
"It's fine, we gotta go." He says
"No, I'm not leaving without Allie" I say and walk back to the store we were just in
"Autty, we need to go, come on" He tries grabbing my wrist
"No" I say and pull away from him and enter the gas station
I look around looking for him.
Then I see him
He's talking to some guy that has tattoos all over him
"Alec!" I say
They both turn to me
Alec's eyes widen
"Auto-parts what are you doing here?" He asks looking dead at me
"Waiting for you're dumbass." I say and try to grab him
"Who's this pretty little thing?" The tattoo guy asks
Alec's eyebrow's furrow "My sister." He says looking the guy dead in the eye
"How old are you sugar?" He asks smirking
"Way to young for you." I say and grab Alec and start dragging him to the door
The tattoo guy grabs my arm
"Let go of me." I say
"Don't touch my sister." Alec says
He's about to snap

Just like that he punches the guy right in the face

It takes the guy a second to realize what happened 'cause his head swings back from the impact.
The guy tries to swing back but Alec dodges.
"Alec!" I say
He punches the guy twice, once in the face and once in the gut.
Shit
I grab Alec and drag his ass out the door "We need to go now."
Ace and Annie are already in the car
I hop in with Alec and we speed off.
"Fucking retard." I mutter to Alec while he's smirking at me

We all enter the house quietly
Careful not to wake Mom up
Thank god dad isn't here yet
Annie is asleep so Ace carried her in
I walk to my room quietly then shut the door silently.
I exhale and lay down on my bed
School starts tomorrow, we are going to a new school it's closer.
We have to drop Annie off at elementary first, She's finally in 4th grade, Me and Alec going into 10th, Ace in 11th.
I hope this school is different
I pray this school is different
I close my eyes
I think back to 6 years ago, when everything was ok, not anymore.
We were at the beach, I was in the water with Annie, while Alec and Ace were on the sand. Annie and me knee deep, splashing water at each other
I laugh
"Du bespritzt mich standig" Annie says
(You keep spraying me)
"Ich bin" I say
(I am)
She giggles
"AUTTY!" Ace yells my name
"YEAH?!" I yell back
I turn to see him bolting at me
I scream
He grabs me and throws me under the water
I'm thinking of the good memories when the bad ones come
My head being shoved under the water, Dad holding my head under, I am slowly drowning, I'm losing breath, He still hasn't let go, I can't see anything everything is blurry. I scream, and scream kicking and slapping at him, he still won't let go. I use all my force to try to make him let go but it's not working, nothings working and slowly I'm losing all my energy.
"Autty?" Ace snaps me out of my memory
"Hmm?" I look at him
"There's nothing to eat and dad's gonna be home any moment so I brought you something I had from like 4 days ago." He says and throws me a bag of something
"What is it?" I ask
"It's Chips." He says and starts to shut the door
"Thanks." I say and take one out of the bag
I slowly start to chew while I look out the window.
