Fallen Seraph

Is this, okay?

                  It's been about four months sense Rein plummeted to the surface of Althenia. In this time the two have grown to get along quite well and even work perfectly in harmony. Lilinta allowed him to stay and tend to the crops and hunt as payment for the former crop damage and a place to stay.

                   The two stood out in front of the old farm house admiring all the work they put into the crops..    ''You've gotten way more done than i ever could've imagined, This years harvest will be more than double all the previous years before. Are you sure you've never grown anything before~?" Lili Giggled jokingly and let out a big worn out sigh. Rein chuckled along with her , ''It's easier than i thought, honestly I knew nothing about the fields when i arrived, of course until you taught me,'' He turns to her as the sky slowly falls into a beautiful twilight. ''You're the reason i even know what in doing so don't put all the credit on me. Thank you for being patient with me all this time.''    The two had been working hard for months and finally it had paid off, the harvesters were finally running collecting all the work they put into the land, The two went inside and sat in the dinning area together.
Lili stood and went to cook dinner, she puts on an apron and turns to Rein, ''Anything in particular? " His face goes flush and he shuffles, "Oh! um... why don't we have some stew?''
Just as he says that Arrow howls from outside the door and barks a few times, Rein Quickly gets the door and Arrow looks at him seemingly not pleased that it was Him instead of Lili. Sitting on the ground in front of Arrow was a beaten dear corpse. "Lili, Arrow brought us dinner again.'' Rein chuckled lightly and lightly pats Arrow, "Gotta get used to me old man," Lili shouts from the kitchen "Prepare the meat and I'll do everything else!" He laughed and yelled back "Gotcha!"

                  After getting everything in the crock pot the two went up the the observatory Where rein had been studying planet Althenia, The room was huge with walls of tempered glass, beautiful flowers and plants thriving in a big circle around a bed he made himself. Althenia's most important history books were scattered on the bed and around his desk and floor. Lili looks around astounded by the beauty of the once ruins of the old observatory, now almost glowing with gorgeously hand grown Flowers, and hand crafted furniture. "Y-you did all this in four months?" She seemed amazed, as the beauty left her speechless.   "I had too much free-time I guess," He laughed as he picked up books, putting them on his desk for later studies. "I think it looks so much better now, and the plants seem to enjoy my spot too, " His bed was made under all the books, with purple silk covers he bought from selling beast hides he caught with Arrow. 

                  Lili stood watching him, as he cleaned up his bed. Her gaze laid on him even in a room of flowers, her heart pounded beneath her chest. For two months now she'd fallen for him, his kindness, dedication, and hard work had caught her eye. She was reluctant to ask him of his origins, and for his heart. She knew he wasn't of this world, though she wasn't either. She thinks of what her demon father would think. Demons are common on Althenia, along with demi humans, beast folk, dragonians, harpies and a few other races, Though she'd never seen a human with now jet black wings that once had a pure white color. She hasn't told him she could even see them, she noticed in the beginning he was determined to hide them, but to her his looks had pulled her in even more. She noticed only humans couldn't see his wings, so that's who buys their crops and pelts. She wants nothing but to keep his beauty to herself, she fears that if someone sees they might take him away.

                  "Rein...I need to ask you something..." She says shyly, as she fixes her hair before he turns to her.  "Oh? what's up Lili?" He asks turning to find her standing there nervously and he started to worry. "I know we've only known each other for a little bit, but," She pauses and looks up as him barely able to hide her nervousness, "How would  you feel... if i wanted to be with you....?" She asked curious for his answer, and her face blushed a light pink in the light of the lamp. Taken aback by her question his heart stopped for a blink, his face now red as he turns from her gaze, looking away as if he cant make eye contact. "I- Well I..." He stumbled over his words trying to find his mind. "How ...Would you feel if i ...wanted you back?" He said slowly looking away to hide his blush still. She covered her face with her hands blushing dark and says  " R-Rein, will you be ...my man?" Her heart was pounding so fast she couldn't think, as she opened her eyes, he stood right in front of her planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Does that answer your question, Lili~? He laughs happily still blushing quite a bit. She nods quietly and hugs him laying her head on his chest still overwhelmed by everything that just happened. Arrow, Who'd followed behind them lets out a big sigh and glares at Rein. As he looked back at Arrow he chuckles and says, " Told you you'd have to get used to me." and rubs her back softly,  "You should check on the food while I finish some research Lili, Don't wanna over do it right?" She nods and kisses him on the lips before giggling and running out of the Observatory. 

                  He sits on his bed and sighs picking up a near by history book thinking to himself, {She Doesn't know what I really am...is this, okay?... for me not to tell her yet ...?}
