With Lupine dead, things aren't going to be the same. Asher and True have lost their mate, someone they loved without even getting to really know him. But for the others, Lupine's close friends, they have lost someone who was a dear friend.
How will they all find a way to cope in a time when everyone feels so broken? In a time where even as they hurt and pain from a loss that they may never heal from? But evil still lurks and chargers them with nothing but the intent to kill. Neither knowing nor caring about the loss of Lupine. Evil has no sympathy.
And Evil waits for no one. The masked man is on the move and he will not stop until he has what he wants. Blood will rain in the path which the man seeks. And if his goal is achieved, then death will reign supreme.
Bad blood, secrets, tension, crying and a hell of a lot of fighting can be seen in the future of Lupine's friends as well as his mates. Or should I say ex-friends and ex-mates. But will they be able to move on from that hurt especially if it's needed for them to rise to the top and put that masked bastard in his place.
But there is still a lot of secrets, bad blood and lies in the mix. Will the lies crumble, can those secrets be revealed and when will all the bad blood finally be drained away. Along with secret love, can everything be fixed and can all of these people find their fairy tale happy ending.
And maybe an unexpected person will come back, from a not so far tragic past...
