"So, Ame." Eden said, her eyes gazing at hers, as Ame's were likewise, the tension in the room after the ordeal yesterday. "Yes, miss?" Ame responded, showing little to no fear by Eden. "Jessie.. he didn't leave his gloves behind, didn't he?" Eden asked the young woman. "I.. uh.."
April noticed Angel visibly stressed, her sobbing evident throughout the whole house as she got stressed herself hearing her stressed. She was on the verge of crying all day, losing her appetite fully. Angel had just been laying down on the couch sobbing and resting, worrying April to a huge degree. She would usually find a way to cope, but she remembered her oath to Angel. As much as it hurt, she couldn't break her vow like that so easily, it's not what Angel would want. She knew eventually Angel would come out of her shell with support, going back to her old happy-go-lucky and charming self, always supporting April no matter what she did. She couldn't get too confident though, she has a stable job finally and a supportive partner, something she couldn't let go. It's like she was finally improving, her life taking a turn for the better, and despite this rough beginning, she could still go and persist as long as she didn't get too confident or too frustrated, just balance the two. Not like her job could fuck her over, nor anything else for that matter, she thought. Hearing Angel groan and whimper in desolation, April approached her love. "H-honey, are you okay?" She asked her love, in a soft and gentle tone. "Go away.." Angel responded back, sounding tired and merely in shambles, eyebags visible due to a lack of rest despite resting. Stress maybe? April couldn't piece it together. "Look.. you don't have to be quiet-" April tried to reason, being cut off by Angel. "I-Im being serious.. leave me alone. You don't understand shit.. you never WILL." Angel lashed out, sounding annoyed at April and furious, making April back up, her expression showing genuine shock and concern. "If you wont take my stuff serious then just.. just LEAVE! Your pill bottles are there for you." Angel shouted, April visibly angry. "F-fucking hell.." April whispered, looking extremely offended, with Angel looking up at her in anger too. "I-Im sorry." April said, before marching off to her room, Angel not saying a word and turning over. In April's room, she looked at the cream colored walls, and up at the ceiling fan before turning around on her bed, going on her phone. She thought about what she did wrong, what did she do wrong? She couldn't find out what. They were in love. They aren't supposed to feel pain.
"Ha! Dude.. you call this 'pro?'" Jessie exclaimed, laughing as he played video games with his brothers, ages 6 and 9. He was home with his father, in the living room as the aroma of Febreze filled the room, his dad on the couch watching silently, sometimes cheering for whoever was winning. He'd make sure Jessie went easy on the kids though, as their ego and confidence would shatter, well, the ego they DID have. They were all taught back when they were younger that people will be better, but it's not something to be ashamed of. This had grown the three boys to be the best they can be, not really having to be the best. That's not to say they didn't try. Jessie had took welding classes, and studied hard during his days in high school after their mother passed. "So, Jess.." Jessie's dad started talking, his voice sounding raspy and dry. "Yeah, dad?" Jessie responded, his voice calm and collected despite what had recently happened, with Nadia and their break-in. "You like that one girl.. Ame, is it not..?" His father responded, making Jessie feel a slight blush. He did like her, she was pretty cute to him and he liked her calm and collected personality, but was always too scared to make the first step to her. "Y-yeah.. what about it?" Jessie asked, not seeing the reasoning with asking it. Sure, it was a good topic starter, but it wasn't really necessary to him. His father leaned in Jessie's ear, beginning to whisper something as his brothers stared at the video game they're playing, naïveté at its finest.
"Oh my god." Jessie said.Angel blew the candles out on her birthday cake, looking happy despite the lack of people. She loved her parents, so why did it matter? She had just turned a year older, and it was a good time. She only needed her parents, but it still felt a bit off at home. "Did you make a wish, Angie?" Her mother, Lily said as her father, Robert looked with a smile on his face. She was their little miracle child. She was almost going to be killed as her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck when being born, but pushes on. She was a miracle kid to them. "Yeah! A sister!" Angel said proudly, her parents chuckling. Angel smiled more, always wanting company in the home when her parents were gone, and wanting to be a good protector like her mom was. After all, a miracle child needs to bring another miracle in place.
"You lied." The current Angel mumbled to herself. The current Angel, with the bloody cuts on her arms and thighs. She had made a new batch. She threw her razor blade away, and didn't feel enough. She went to cover her arm in a cast for now, and went to the fridge to find a drink. "A-Angie.. you good?" April said, trying to muzzle up to her, being audibly concerned and saddened. "Go away." Angel said, her voice rough and angry, trying to shove April off. "A-Angie.. we always cuddle.. please?" April said, trying to twirl Angel's hair to comfort her. "Ugh.. stop. Last warning." Angel said. She was clenching her fist, and turning red, as April felt bad, but knew she had to be a good girlfriend. "A-Angie.. but-"
"Shut UP!"
Angel slammed her fist into April's face, sending her stumbling on her feet, dropping a glass and shattering it.
