"How dare you talk to me like that. Huh?" he asked gripping my jaw in a way that hurt so much. My eyes filled with tears but I still glared at him.

'I said lower your eyes.' He said with a frown which showed how my actions affected him.

Daughter of

Shrikant verma & Shruti verma.

Elder sister of pratiksha verma. Her sister is opposite of her name.she lacks patience. Always in a hurry. A habit that runs in the family.

Younger sister to Advik verma. Who is working as an intern in MNC.

Gayatri, Seema and Radhika her friends from school days.

School se leke college Tak they are always seen together.

I have got a supportive family, loving friends and a handsome fiance. Today my long awaited dream is also getting fulfilled.

My marriage is getting fixed with Siddharth.
His family is coming for Dinner. I am so confused what to wear.

"Mom you came at the right time please help me. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha what to wear."

'Itne kapde hai kuch bhi pehen le.' Mom replied as usual.

'Mom kya bol Rahi ho more than 6 yrs I am wearing the same clothes.'

'Accha phir yeh kya hai.' She opened my cupboard showing me at least 40 dresses.

'Yeh puraane ho gaye hai.' I whined.

'Accha if you want new then first throw this. Fekna nahi hai par aur naye kapde chahiye madam ko.'

Kaise feku it's not torn, it still fits me perfectly with no stain. Colour bhi nahi utara hai.

'Then why are you complaining?'

'Because Siddharth has seen me in all this clothes already.'

'Jaise ki use bada yaad rahne wala hai.'

Try this one she handed me a yellow sleeveless kurti.

'It's nice but I can't wear.'
Why? My mom asked

'Mere underarm shaved nahi hai. Find something with sleeves.' I muttered lowly.

This girl. She said while glaring at me with hands on her hips. She again started searching.

This will do!!!

Do one thing wear this. She handed me a brinjal colour salwar with sleeves which had skin colour embroidery work on its neckline.

'Mom you are the best. Yeh Maine kaise nahi dekha. Kahan par tha yeh dress.'

'Tu rakhti hai toh tujhe nahi pata.'

'Jaldi pehen aur niche aa.' Before leaving she applied kajal behind my ear.

I changed into that dress applied some lip gloss, kajal. For hair I didn't do anything special. Ek clip laga liya ho gaya and went downstairs to help mom in cooking.

Siddharth had messaged me that his childhood friend is also coming along with them.

Daksh Singhania

I don't understand Siddharth ko itni jaldi kyu hai shaadi ki. Par phir thik bhi hai cause we are coming of age. Kabhi na kabhi karni hai.
He invited me to come to his soon to be in- laws house for dinner. Maine bhi socha let's see kaun hai yeh ladki jisne Siddharth ka Dil Jeet liya. Everytime he meets me he keeps on praising her. Sometimes her food, her funny talks. How beautiful she is and so on.

We arrived at their place at sharp 8 pm with some sweet boxes that his parents brought with them. I also brought a Titan new collection watch for my friends fiance and two bottles of red wine.
Siddharth kuch bhi bole phir bhi Khaali haath jaana mujhe thik nahi laga.

After sitting in their living room.
Yahan wahan ki baatein shuru ho gayi. I barely paid attention to it.

One girl came towards us carrying a tray which had 6 glasses of water. Siddharth who was chatting with her father stopped talking suddenly and kept gazing in a particular corner. I frowned as I saw no one.

Samne ladki glass leke khadi hai aur yeh dekh kahin aur rahe hai.

Siddharth beta her father called him that's when he hurriedly took the glass from that tray which resulted in spilling water on his shirt pant.

'Beta tum Advik ke kamre mein jao. He will give you his spare clothes for the time being.'Mr verma told him and Advik made a hand gesture to follow him to which Siddharth complied silently lost in thought.

Idhar aate waqt he was so excited. Abhi itna shaant kyu hai?

Now Mr Verma's full attention was on me. He was amazed to see me in person. Afterall who won't like to be associated with the singhania's. He introduced his younger daughter to me.
