After what seemed like hours of screaming and worry, a new life was born onto Earth. The mother laid in bed; so tried and overwhelmed, praying that their baby was delivered safely. Her husband that anxiously watched tried his best to comfort his wife.

"How are you- Are you feeling okay?" he asked, grabbing ahold of her hand. She weakly smiled as she started to feel her eyes water. She let's out a shaky breath and covered her eyes. "I can't believe we're going to start a family," she said. "I'm kind of afraid..."

Before the husband could respond, a deafening cry pierced throughout the room as a little being twitched it's arms. With white walls so blinding, everything was a blur. The family's soft gasps could be heard as a the nurse got closer. The newborn's tears lessened as he was embraced in warmth. The wife's faint panting was a soothing rhythm to him.

"He's so precious," the mother cooed as she gently caressed the baby. She admired every feature about him with her worn out eyes. "Hi there, [M/n]."

The baby continued it's obnoxious crying, unaware of what's going on.

"Honey, come hold him," the mother said, gesturing with her head. "This is your dad, look."

"Mom?" the [hair color]-haired male called out as he popped his head into the room. His mother stopped straightening her long silky hair as she smiled at the sight of her son.

"Do you need something darling?" the mother asked, placing the iron onto the vanity.

"Um..." the little boy's face flushed and accidentally crumbled the gift he was hiding behind him. "I-I made something for you!"
