What Is this Letter Talking About??

Harry's POV

"Yes uncle Vernon" I said as Vernon points to a broken plate and asks "Boy did you break that plate". He comes over to me and starts hitting me and kicking again. This is the seventh time I've been beaten in two days.

I want to cry but I can't if I do the punishment will get worse. So I suck it up and endure it until I pass out. The next day I wake up and see a letter that's addressed to me from gringotts.

The letter from Gringotts says:

Hello Mister Potter it has come to our attention that you have gone through an early creature inheritance. This letter is a portkey when you want to Activate the port key hold my signature and say Lord. Please come soon.

What and where is gringotts also what is a creature inheritance? I should do as the letter says what's the harm of doing what the letter says it's not like I'm going to die if I do as the letter says, right. I get ready by putting on new clothes because the ones I was wearing were bloody and ripped then I pack some of my things.

After I was done packing (which didn't take long) I grabbed the letter and held the signature and said "Lord". I feel a pull behind my navel and then it feels like I'm pulled through a tube. Then I was suddenly in a building that's ran by goblins.

I went up to one of the goblins that were free then the goblin asked "What is your business here". I gave him the letter then the goblin points at a door and says "Griphook is through that door". I then told the goblin "Thank you for the help".

Then I went to the door and opened it to see a goblin that I think is Griphook. The goblin says "Hello Mister Potter I'm the goblin named Griphook and I look over the Potter valuts". "Hello Griphook you sent a letter to me but I don't understand what an inheritance is,so can you explain what that is" I ask.

Griphook says "A creature inheritance is when you have a parent or parents that have creatures in their blood such as veelas, nekos, and fire elves those are the most common creatures that parents have". I say " Ok that makes sense but how do I know what creature or creatures I have in my blood sir". Griphook says "That is why I wrote you that letter, the way to show you is to take the inheritance test and we can also give you a potions, compulsions, and blocks and inheritance test if you want to know your family history it also shows you the vaults and properties you have but you can do or not do the last two test".

I say "I want to do all of the tests please but how do you do the tests Griphook". Griphook says "It's simple all I need is for you to drop four drops of your blood on each of these papers using this knife". I nod my head and I take the knife and cut my finger and got four drops on each of the papers the first one I look at is the creature's inheritance one.
