My One and Only

The letter

After a month of waiting

Harry's POV

I was talking to my grandparents when all of a sudden Chuck comes in and tells me "Young master you have a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry". I nod at him and he gives me the letter.

What the letter said:

Headmaster:Albus Dumbledore(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorcerer, Supreme Mugwump, International Confederation of Wizards)

Dear Harry Potter,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins September 1st. We await your owl by no later than July 31st.

Yours sincerely, Minerva McGonagall Deputy Headmistress.

The next page says:

Uniforms for first-years students will require. Three sets of plain work robes (black). One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear.
One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar). One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings) Please note that all pupils clothes should carry name tags.

All students should have a copy of each of the following books:

The Standard book of spells (grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk

A History of Magic by Bathlida Bagehot

Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling

A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch

One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore

Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander

The Dark Forces:A guide to self-protection by Quentin Trimble

The other supplies you will need are:

One wand

One cauldron (Pewter, standard size two)

One set of glass or crystal phails

One telescope

One set of brass scales

Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad.

Reminder to the parents first-years are not allowed to have their own brooms.

Harry's POV

I wrote a letter and gave it to the owl that stayed for a bit to eat and told it "Since I don't have an owl yet can you give this to Mrs. McGonagall, please". The owl nods its head and leaves I say "Thank you" to the owl. I think the library has all of those books I will need this school year. So we don't have to buy any books from the book store. Then I went to the fireplace and flewed to Diagon Alley to get the supplies I would need. First I go to Madam Mulkins clothes shop and order what I need. She starts taking my measurements and then says "These clothes will be finished in three hours" I nod my head and leave. Then I go to get a wand from Ollivanders. I walk in and see a lot of boxes behind the counter but no one was there so I pressed the bell that was on the counter and Ollivanders came out of nowhere. I tell him "Hello Ollivanders I am here for a wand". He says "Ah yes I remember when your mom and dad came in and got their first wands they had great wands. Which arm is your wand arm". I raise my right hand. He then comes and measures my right arm and other things like my nostrils. Then he goes back behind the counter and brings out a wand.

After 30 wands not working

I finally get my wand and pay for it before he goes into detail about the brother of my wand. I then go to get the rest of the things on my list. I stopped by a pet store and felt three connections to animals so I went to find them. The first one I found was a snowy owl that I named Hedwig, The second one I felt came from an orange cat and I called it Mist, the third one I felt was a 10ft long green snake and called him Mitch.

After 2 long hours of buying all of the things he would need for his familiars.

Harry's POV

I finally got to go back home. I flewed home and called out to everyone "I'm home and I'm going to take a nap". I then walked to my room and changed into more comfortable clothes and went to sleep on my bed.

After he slept for 3 hours

Harry's POV

That was the best nap I have taken in my entire life I feel so relaxed and calm. Then March came in and said "It's time for dinner master" I nodded my head at him. He leaves and I start to get in better suited clothes. I then walked to the dining table and started eating. After I finished eating my food I went to the library and told my grandparents all about what I did today.

After Harry finished talking to his grandparents about his day and saying goodbye and goodnight to them

Harry's POV

I walked to my room and changed into pajamas and went back to bed. I had another dream about my mate but this time he said "I will be yours and you will be mine until death do us part". I nod in my dream and then we started to cuddle and went to sleep again. I woke up to my curtains being pulled open by Nyx. I fully woke up and Nyx told me  "breakfast is ready young master" I nod and went to the dining hall not bothering to change my clothes and started eating. I then started packing my bags to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After I finished packing I went to tell my grandparents good morning and they started teaching me more about how pure bloods reacts in certain situations. After the long lessons they taught me I said "I need to go to my room and finish packing" I know I lied but I didn't want to hear anymore lessons about how pure bloods act today. they both say "alright". I then leave to go to my room and sleep for a while.
