Chapter 7: Celebration

You and the Neons are on a mission with the Lagoon Company. You and Revy took cover behind a corner and fired bullets at a group of mercenaries.

"What the hell you do to make these guys have a personal vendetta against you?"

Revy: "You want a story, or do you want to make it out of here with your life?"

You and Revy fired back and managed to kill a few mercs.

"Cyan, tell me you've got control of the power," you said, tapping your helmet.

Cyan: "Yep. Blackout in three, two, one."

All the power went out, and you activated the night vision in your mask. You exited from your cover and shot the rest of the mercenaries. The sounds of the fighting echoed on the radio on your mask, causing everyone to respond.

Red: "Red here. Target is heading toward the hangar."

Dutch: "Got it. Revy, get over here before they reach it."

Revy: "Hey Chinglish, get your ass to the hangar if you want to earn your cut."

Shenhua: "Whatever, bitch."

You turned off the radio before heading to the hangar.

"Women."

You reached the hangar and saw the target heading for a helicopter. Dutch and Revy fire as the Target entered the helicopter as you ran runs toward it and grabbed on as it began to take off.

You witnessed a dagger hit the helicopter and saw that Shenhua threw it. You pulled her up, keeping your grip on the helicopter.

Red: "I got a shot. Why don't you two leave before you end up as collateral?"

Shenhua: "Fuck. Well, don't want to be splattered and shit."

You saw the helicopter pointing where Red is hiding, and you shot the cockpit to distract the target. You and Shenhua jump off as Red shot the target, causing the helicopter to go out of control. You used your grappling hook and grabbed Shenhua as it hit a floodlight and you swings the two of you into an office.

"Well, we just got onto a helicopter for nothing. But at least nothing is broken."

Shenhua: "I guess."

The next day, all of you, including the members of Lagoon Company, were in the Neon's office drinking. As you were enjoying your drink, you saw Revy and Shenhua fighting and intervened.

"I know this fight is none of my business, but if you plan on spilling blood, take it outside. We had to replace the blood-stained rugs when we first got this place, and we're not doing that again."

Revy scoffed.

Revy: "Alright, alright. Big baby. See you later, bitches."

"I'm not a baby, it's called having class."

Shenhua: "Don't bother. She hardly ever listens."

"I can tell."

From afar, you saw Pink and Yellow talking with Rock.

Shenhua: "You Neons always look after each other, huh?"

"Been together since the first year at Arcadia. We're inseparable."

Shenhua: "Good to know."

You joined the others and watched the Neons discuss their parts in the operation.
