I never wanted to be his mate.....

i never wanted to be his mate. It all started when i was seven years old.

i was waiting on the street after ballet practice when my mother never came to pick me up. i waited all night, until a young man came up to me and said,'why are you so sad little one?'.

i responded saying,' my mother left me, and i am all alone. i am so very cold.'

he smiled a sad smile and said,' little one, would you like to come with me? i can make it so you are never alone and you are never cold again.'

'yes!' i sobbed.

he held out his hand to me and i took it. he led me into a forest full of tall beautiful pine trees.

then he bit me.

i screamed, as his poison ran through me,hand i felt little pickles all over my body. i felt my bones break again and again, and i changed into something i had never though possible. something i never knew about until this night.

i stopped screaming, and the man said,' would you like to see yourself little one?'

i nodded my unusually large head. he brought out a large mirror and i backed away from it.

i was a wolf.

i had fur as thick as thick, and it was a gorgeous pure white colour. i had clear light blue eyes that put the sea and sky to shame.

i was beautiful.

'do you see now how special you are? i will bring you home to my pack, and i will introduce them to the newest wolf of our pack. from now on, you shall obey me and be my daughter. i am the alpha'.

i bowed down before him as my wolf instincts told me.

'follow me, little one', he whispered.

so i tucked my tail between my legs and followed him to my new home and my new family.

8 YEARS LATER.........

'Grace!!!!! the Alpha wants to talk to you!!!!' Sam shouted out across the threshold.

i sighed and shouted back,' yeah yeah, be there in a minute.'

'better hurry,' Sam told me ,' you know he doesn't like being kept waiting.'

i grabbed my jacket and shifted. i jumped out my window and followed the Alpha's scent.

'There you are' he murmured.

i shifted back into human form and replied,' yes i am sorry it took so long. i was in the middle of something'.

'a book i will guess?' he laughed.

i laughed and replied,' what else?'

'what are you reading this time?' he questioned me.

i smirked and said,' fifty shades of grey'.

he looked shocked and growled,' please tell me you are joking! i will not have my little girl reading silly sexual things like that!'

i became shame-faced and said,' no, i am sorry Alpha, i wasn't. i was reading dance of shadows by Yelena Black.'

he sighed again. ' i hate watching you grow up. but soon you shall be frozen in time, so i should be glad.'

' Seriously dad, no offense, but did you really want to talk to me about me reading choices? i mean, isn't there more urgent matters to attend?' i cringed. if i were a wolf right now i would have flattened my ears in embarrassment and shame.
