"Claire is a good friend of Lana moon if we want any lead in this case we might as well talk to her" Amber explained.
Currently they were sitting in a car with Evan in the driver's seat and Amber in the passenger's seat beside him. "What about her parents?" Evan asked.
Amber sighed and said "I haven't found any information about them".
"That's quite strange" Evan said in a soft voice. Both of them talked about the case while they continued thier ride to Claire's house. "Here is the location"
Evan said while hitting the brakes.
They stood before a fairly big house. Both of them got out of the car as Amber strode up to the door and knocked on the door. "Coming" came the reply from the other side as the door was opened by a brown haired girl.
"Good evening Ma'am. We are here from the FBI to enquire you about a case"Amber said in a firm voice as she showed her batch. Behind her, Evan whispered in her ear, "Don't you think you should be more polite". Amber turned around and glared at the boy.
Evan got nervous and whispered a sorry' to her. They both turned thier attention towards the brunette who was staring at them." Please come in" came her reply.
Both the detectives shared a look and then went inside. "Please have a seat" the girl said politely gesturing towards the chair. Both of them sat down as the girl sat opposite to them."So what do you wanna ask?"The girl said.
"We wanted to talk to Claire about Lana moon's case"Evan said. The brunette looked shocked and her green eyes widened.She slammed her hand on the center table as she shouted,"What?!". Evan flinched in fear.
"We.....um wanted to talk to Claire". Suddenly the girl slumped back into her chair as tears streamed down her face. Amber and Evan had concerned faces.
Amber stood up from her chair and placed a hand on the brunette's shoulder."Whats wrong?where is Claire?Did something happen to her?" Amber questioned the sobbing girl. The girl spoke in a soft voice
"She's............"
