She took her hairbrush and started brushing her short wavy brown hair, it was easier to brush nowadays after she cut it, she soon put the white brush down and as she was about to walk away, she noticed something nearby, something silver and familiar, a small and silver heart necklace, she picked it up, it was dirty and dusty, she put it up to her neck, looking at herself in the mirror, it didn't fit completely, but it could if she tried. She wrapped it around her neck, she had forgotten about it previously, it was old and she though she outgrew it but she apparently didn't, it was still a good memory. She turned around, entering the dining room she saw her parents talking and laughing, they saved hello and eventually they mention her necklace, how old and dusty it was, how it didn't fit, how she could replace it, she shook her head "it wouldn't be the same” she muttered under her breath, her parents were confused, a new one would fit much better, but it didn't hold the same past as this one. Nothing would be as good as this one was, her parents just shrugged it off, barley noticing how weird she was acting about it, she was glad.
After dinner, she did decide to try to find something, she went to lots of different shops, but they all didn't fit her, they just didn't feel right, all the places she did enjoy didn't sell necklaces, it had to be a necklace. Plus what type of a jewellery shop doesn't sell necklaces? She sighed hopelessly, sitting down on a seat in mall, staring down at her lap, she'd get over this in a few days, she'll forget why does she even bother? She laughed at herself, she knew deep down that she'll be happy tomorrow with another necklace, but whenever she saw this one, she had to look into it, it always caught her attention she couldn't *ignore it*, the necklace meant too much to her, past her, her past self loved it too much, her current self however only saw how she's stuck in the past and should stop being so annoying about it
Tomorrow she'll be fine, she'll forget about it for a good while, so just for now, she's gonna let herself get carried away, it's fine to get carried away sometimes, even if it's for something silly like a necklace
