Theodore stood in front of the mirror in his dorm room, fixing his hair with a bit more care than usual.

He couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in his chest as he imagined the possibility of running into Camila that evening.

He adjusted his collar, smoothing out imaginary wrinkles, and straightened his tie, hoping to make a good impression.

Blaise and Draco sat on one of the beds, eating smarties and watching Theodore with amusement.

"Going for a new look, Theo?" Blaise teased.

Draco smirked, "Who's the lucky girl tonight?"

Theodore rolled his eyes, trying to hide his growing embarrassment. "None of your business," he muttered, although he couldn't quite suppress the smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Pansy entered the room, her gaze immediately falling on Theodore. "well, who do we have here?" she laughed, her eyes dancing with curiosity. "Who is our theo getting all dressed up for today?"

Theodore felt his cheeks flush as he turned to face Pansy. "No one," he replied, trying to sound nonchalant.

Blaise and Draco exchanged knowing glances before bursting into laughter. "Oh, come on, Theo," Draco taunted, "we all know it's girl Potter."

Theodore's cheeks burned even hotter. "Shut up, both of you, and her name is Camila" he grumbled, though there was no real malice in his tone.

Blaise and Draco continued their teasing, singing Camila's name and making exaggerated kissy noises. Theodore couldn't help but join in their laughter, despite the embarrassment creeping up inside him.

Pansy raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "Camila, huh?" she mused, a sly smile playing on her lips. "I thought you were just friends"

Theodore felt a pang of annoyance at Pansy's remark. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Pansy shrugged, unfazed by Theodore's reaction. "it's just because," she replied casually. "She's going on a date with Atkins, but you're only friends right? so you don't care."

Theodore's heart sank at Pansy's words, though he tried his best to hide his disappointment. "I couldn't care less," he muttered, turning back to the mirror to hide his expression.

Blaise and Draco exchanged a look, seeing Theodore's true feelings despite his attempt to brush off Pansy's comment. Sensing the tension in the air, Blaise quickly changed the subject, offering Theodore a pack of smarties in an attempt to lighten the mood.

Theodore hesitated for a moment before accepting the candy, he couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment that lingered in the pit of his stomach.
