HappyFrog (Rossbert story)

Chapter 27 : The family event

(2 Hours later because ~Robert couldn't stop thinking about HappyFrog~ )

Ross's POV

It was getting late so we had to let the frogs go one by one, I said bye to one and each of them, sad to let them go, while Roy and Rob were packing things up, "How long is it gonna take you to say bye to those frogs?!" Roy said impatient with me, "Shut up dude! let Ross have his moment! Frogs are his favorite anyway" Rob says backing me up as he folds the blanket, "Whatever.." Roy says  annoyed.

I than pick up the last frog, which was of course HappyFrog! "I will make sure to come back tomorrow or later okay!?" I whisper to HappyFrog with a smile, as usual HappyFrog smiles back and croaks, "Rob! come say bye to HappyFrog!" I say gesturing him to come, "Okay" Rob says walking up to me. he Looks at me and blush's for some reason and looks back at HappyFrog.

"Good bye little friend! We'll miss you" Rob says blushing as he waves to HappyFrog, I than let HappyFrog go right in front of the water and it kind of hesitated when I let it go, it stood still and had to process a bit before it finally realized it was let free, HappyFrog than hops away and into the water, and lets out a big croak for a 'good bye'.

Me and Rob than wave good bye to HappyFrog as he swims away and than we help Roy pack the rest of everything else.

(Minutes later ~Because Ross and Robert are listening to the song |Lover's Rock|  as they walk back to Ross's~ )

While we were walking, we had made it to the neighborhood and Roy had to go so he went to his house, "Cya guys tomorrow!" Roy shouts, "Cya!!" we say in sync, as we wave 'bye'. We than start walking to my house and than the next song came on, |Nobody by Mitski |.

(BTW! The songs that Ross and Robert were listening to were literally from my playlist ERM B>) 

Robert's POV

While walking we talked about things we would do tomorrow like going back to the spot and finding HappyFrog again! But to me, HappyFrog is just a name to resemble me and Ross together, I don't mind it at all! I just think it's cute that he would want to name a frog after us and the ship.

(Minutes later because ~Robert and Ross were being loud in the streets!~ )

After we made it to Ross's house, we went inside to meet his mom Jaune, "Hey boy's! You two didn't come home after school and you Ross, haven't texted me where you were going" Jaune says with a teasing smile, "But seriously where have you two been? and where's Roy?" Jaune adds, "O-oh we... I thought of a place that me and the gang used to go when we were kids, and thought we'd all go back and see what it looked like now.. since it has been some years since we've last been there.. Right Rob?" Ross says looking at me.

I than blush, "Uh, y-yeah! It was really cool! but Roy had to go when we were coming back here" I say looking at Jaune, "Oh, Okay! Just wanted to know! And that's sweet of you Ross, to bring your little gang to a place where you kids had memories" Jaune says, I than look at Ross and see him blush, "Shut up mom" He whisper's to himself, I chuckle at the fact he got flustered and embarrassed from his mom, but to be honest, moms do that a lot, especially Jaune!

"Okay well... we're just gonna hang in my room..." Ross says as he gestures me to hurry up so we can escape her from saying anything else. "Okay boy's well there's food in the fridge if you two ever want anything!" Jaune says with a smile, "Okay mom..." Ross says rolling his eyes playfully as we walk up stair's into his room. Once we got into his room we sat down and watched a movie before falling asleep.

(The next morning because ~I've been busy lately sorry~ )
