Nexus. The Realm of Connection. This connection was that between different universes. Originally Nexus was nothing but a black void. Devoid of anything. Not a single thing. Until a single spark. Erupted into a light. A Great Star formed. This Great Star expanded Nexus from an infinite void into an infinite home to infinite universes. Each universe more unique than the last.
The Great Star also created three divine beings. Past, Present, and Future. All three of these beings now the deities in charge of Nexus and its infinite amount of universes. They were family and kept each other company in Nexus.
One day the Great Star created a drop of its light. Which formed itself into the shape of a young boy. His hair was dirty blonde and long with a singular blue streak, his skin as pale as the falling snow, his eyes blue as sapphires, and from his back grew three pairs of feathered angelic wings. Floating just around his head was a halo or crown of glowing white and blue.
Past, Present, and Future took care of this new god and gave him a name. Matrix. Matrix helped around Nexus caring for the many universes and even creating a few of his own. But he'd always wanted to interact with the universes and their inhabitants. So Past, Present, and Future gave Matrix a special gift. He would still exist in Nexus as a singular organism but he would also exist in the infinite amounts of universes and fit into their rules. And Matrix could even visit whenever he pleased. These versions of Matrix would all exist in their separate universes but not know of each other's existence or Matrix's.
Matrix became happy with this. And even created a new universe to celebrate it. He named it Prime. Prime was a universe without gods, magic, and such. Instead it would be a world where even if things looked bad one way or another without magic the inhabitants would find a way forward. Matrix loved this universe. He loved it so much that he decided to instead of putting a version of himself into this universe he would broadcast to it directly and watch how this universe would grow.
