Hello readers! Happy Valentine's Day! I'm working on the next chapter, but it's not quite ready. In lieu of that, I wrote a poem that I thought I should share.
There is a feeling I cannot escape
Of being held in a strong embrace
To smile and laugh till my cheeks ache
Seeing my beauty through another's eye
A sense of home that I've never known
The light that shines in the dark
A place where I can truly be
No sense of fear or shame, only me
A love that burns so bright it blinds
An experience I have yet to feel
Can't help but wonder, is love real?
I want to give special thanks to those who have read every chapter till now. Your comments and encouragement help me keep writing and keep the imposter syndrome at bay.
