CHAPTER 1 - a new family

tommy's alarm clock starts going off, he wakes up and turns it off, its just another normal day, right? he grabs his phone and goes to text someone.

tommy!
tubbs are you awakeee

tubbo 🐝
ya why?

can I come to your room, I'm boredd!

(they are both in the adoption center or whatever you call it)

yea shure

tommy gets up and grabs a white shirt, plaid black and red jacket, and black jeans, he gets changed and opens the door and walks over to tubbo's room.

tubbo is pretty much the only person that make tommy genuinely happy, tubbo has left the adoption center a few times, but has always come back, yet tommy recently came and has already gone to 14 different homes, each one of of them abusive.

he got into the adoption system whenever CPS caught his dad after tommy told a friend about it. When he was younger, his parents were slightly abusive, that happened until he was about 10, then his mom died, and his dad took it all out on him, meaning he became more abusive.

that happened until he was 13, like i said, he told a friend about it, his friend told their parents, and their parents called CPS and tommy got put in the adoption system.

now, 6 months later, tommy is 14 with terrible trauma, but all that seems to go away when he's with tubbo. Anyways back to tommy going to tubbo's room, when tommy arrived at tubbo's door, he knocked twice and tubbo answered the door!

"tom!" tubbo yells as he brings tommy into a tight hug "i missed you!"

"we saw each other last night" tommy said, hugging tubbo back

"that's so longgg"

"clingy" tommy whispers under his breath jokingly

"hey!"

"sorry"

"whatever, anyways, wanna play uno?" tubbo says with a large smile on his face

"yeah, sure!"

tubbo grabs tommy's hand and runs over to his bed and grabs uno off of his table by his bed. they play a few rounds until there's a knock at the door

"hello?" tubbo says a bit loudly with confusion in his voice

"hi, it's lindsay, is tommy in there?" (lindsay is the meanest lady at the adoption center)

"yea, why?"

"there's a family wanting to meet him"

tubbo looked at tommy with a bit of worry, knowing about his past families, tommy had a slightly worried look on his face but he got up and opened the door

"there you are! i was looking for you!" lindsay tries to say kindly to tommy, knowing the family can hear them talking. lindsay closes tubbo's door and puts her hand on tommy's back, leading him to the waiting room where the family was waiting
