Daycare time

I shake Daddy as I wake up extra early, too excited to even sleep any longer.
"Daddy!!! Wake up!! Today's the day!"

Daddy yawns and rolls over looking at the alarm clock, that reads 5:00am.
"Uh no babygirl we don't need to be up for another 2 hours, go back to sleep please."

I pout but stand up and start waking to the door of his room.

"Where are you going? I told you it's time to go back to sleep."

I shrug
"I dunno I can't sleep I'm boooreddd. I wanna go watch tv"

Daddy gets up and carries me back to bed, putting me under the covers and my binky in my mouth. I pout about it even more.
"You can watch on my phone, kid shows only."
Daddy says with a stern voice who then hands me his phone on the kid profile on Netflix.
I look through an find a show about of course, horseys! I watch the cartoon series for a while until the alarm finally goes off and Daddy wakes up.

He yawns and stretches, takes his phone and puts it in his pocket and picks me up as we head to my room. He changes me quickly, while putting me in a pair of cute pink shorts and a onesie that is purple with a gummy bear pattern on it. We head to the kitchen as he sets me in my high chair.

I pout again, "nooooo I wanna go to daycare! I not hungry"

He gives me the look, as I quiet down and sit patiently waiting for my food. He makes cut up chocolate chip pancakes and some strawberries on the side. I eat quickly wanting to go meet my new friends! He takes me out, wipes my face and packs my bag for me with all the essentials especially my horse stuffy. We get in the truck and head to daycare. I walk in holding his hand as I start to become shy, seeing so many littles my age and older playing on the huge inside playground, some coloring at a table and doing crafts while a couple are in the back area on mats napping already. I hide behind him as a sweet lady, who looks to be in her 30s says,

"You must be Brad and this must be your adorable little Hannah! She is even cuter in person! My name is Miss Amy"

My face blushes as Daddy picks me up as I hide my face again. He says,

"Hi! It's lovely to meet you. She can be a little shy sometimes but she'll warm up."

He looks at me and kisses my forehead setting me back down. All of a sudden Bella runs up and gets super excited seeing me there! I perk up and we hug, giggling. She grabs my hand and pulls me to the playground. I look back at Daddy and I wave,

"Byyyeeeee Daddy see you soon! I gonna play!"

He chuckles then heads to the police chiefs office as he goes to talk about his new job as a police officer to help protect the community even more.

Me and Bella climb up the rock climbing side of the playground and get up to the very top meeting another 2 littles. One named Jake and the other is Sophie.

"Guys, this is Hannah! She's the newest addition to our town :)"

"Hi Hannah!! Welcome! We can't wait to play with you!"

I blush but smile and say hi back to them. We then decide to play hide and seek and have a blast running around the playground inside. We stop for snack time with a few of the other littles, us all sitting at a few tables. We eat our snacks then decide to color, an hour passes but I start to get pouty that Daddy isn't back yet. It's been a whole hour! I walk up to Miss Amy, tapping on her arm,

"Miss Amy? Do you know when my Daddy will be back?"

"Oh hi sweetie! He should be back in another hour or so."

"That long?"
I start to pout and sniffle, missing him then Miss Amy realizes that I went potty in my diaper.

"Come with me sweetie."
She grabs my hand as we walk to the changing room, while another big named Miss Rebecca watches over the other littles. She lifts me up and changes me super fast, despite my protest and pouting along with pushing her away.

"I waaaant my Daaaadddyyy!!"

I start to cry now as she holds me rocking me back and fourth. The other littles I made friends with come up to check on me. Asking if I'm okay. I nod yes but can't get words out. I'm starting to feel super little and cry even more. Miss Amy rocks me in a rocking chair with my binky in my mouth as I start to quiet down, soon falling asleep. I awake to Daddy picking me up in his arms and hugging me.

"DADDY!!!"

"Hi babygirl, I'm here now sorry it took so long."
He says as he hugs me close.

I say bye to my new friends as we head back to our house.

"Can we stop by the ponies? I wanna see dem!"

"Not today little one, I promise tomorrow we can. We still have a few things to unpack that I bought for you from the little store here."

I start to pout and whine, as we drive to our house which is only about a block away.

"Nu uhhhh! I wanna go see dem! Now!!"

Daddy clears his throat,
"Young lady what did I just say?"

"I wanna go nowww!!"
I start the water works and start crying as we pull into our driveway. Daddy comes to my door and takes me out, not letting me walk. As I continue to cry and push against him, wanting down. We get into the house and he goes to the corner where my time out chair is and sits me on it.

"You will sit here for 10 minutes. I won't accept that behavior and you throwing a fit. I told you we will see the ponies tomorrow. If you continue then we won't see them at all this week."

I keep crying, and stare at the corner. I wanna see them today. I just want my own! Daddy is such a meany!

10 minutes pass as he comes back and looks down at me.

"You gonna behave?"

I nod and stick my lower lip out pouting, he picks me up and we go eat some lunch at the table. He sets me down a pb and j sandwich with the crust cut off and a sippy cup that has unicorns all over it filled with water. I eat happily, and drink some water then Daddy takes me to the couch holding me in his lap as he turns a movie on for us. It's My little Pony!! We watch for about a half hour then I slowly drift off to sleep, feeling content. Cared for, loved and protected. I love my Daddy!!
