"What will a stubborn kid get?"
"My kick!"
"Aw, Ye, have you ever talked to me nicely?"
"And how long will you keep following us both?"
"Don't use the words 'us both.' I'm only following you, Ye, and I will keep following you until I stop breathing. As for you, Yo-yak (Giant), leave some distance. Don't be a pest."
"Right."
"Yak, don't obey him that much. Come here. Walk by my side."
Yo-yak raises an eyebrow. He does not leave the distance or speed up to be by his brother's side as he has been told. He just stops walking once they get to the middle of the alley. So, the two people who have been arguing in front of him stop as well and turn around to look with curiosity.
The small guy whose name is Cherry utters a question to Yo-yak.
"What's the matter, Handsome Yo-yak?"
"I want to drink a Coke. It seems we've run out of it at home. Ye and Cherry, you guys go on ahead. I'll go back to buy some at the entrance of the alley."
"Then, give me your bag. I'll put it back at home for you."
Yo-yak does not refuse. He just nods, takes the bag strap on his thick shoulder off and hands the bag to him. His athletic muscles show off eminently. The tattoo on his arm and his handsome face with signs of bruises make the person in the dim light look intimidating.
"What big muscles. But your muscles are the result of lifting milk bottles, Yak." Cherry stops holding onto O-ye's arm but uses his finger to poke Yo-yak's hard muscles instead. Then, his hand gets hit loudly. O-ye hits him to fend him off with all the power of his love.
"Stop insulting my younger brother by calling him a kid."
"I'm not insulting him. This is me, Cherry, holding a position as Yak's mother. How can I insult him? But my position as a wife is still yours." Cherry extends his lips forward.
Yo-yak shakes his head at the sight of these two people who are arguing in front of him. And after O-ye has taken his bag, those two no longer pay attention to him.
They just... keep walking straight ahead and continue arguing.
So, Yo-yak, in turn, does what he has intended to do—he turns around and makes his way toward the entrance of the alley, popping a hand into the pocket of his shorts and getting out his phone. A row of beautifully positioned white teeth bites onto the lower lip. His sharp eyes glance up to the 1:30 a.m. sky as he is trying to figure out what message to send to the person he likes.
He types a sentence saying that he misses that person. Then, he deletes it as he is not brave enough to reveal his feelings. The lights from the light poles along the way shine upon the handsome face that is looking up at the sky, facing the cool, wet droplets of dew.
Yo-yak's face has clearly visible wounds: just above the right eyebrow is a rupture along with the stitches, while on the prominence of his left cheek is a purple bruise; blood is seeping from a side of his mouth, and a rupture can be clearly seen on his nasal bridge. As for his body, it is covered with countless bruises.
It is not because he is a hooligan who regularly gets into fights, but it is because he is a boxer. Today, he just had a big boxing match, so he could not avoid having bruises and wounds, but getting hurt was worth it this time because he won by a knockout in only round two.
'I got the medal today.'
In the end, the message to the person he likes ends up being only a message of his daily life. Yo-yak still goes on his way slowly to wait for the reply. However, after the recipient of his message has read it, only a stupid sticker is sent back.
