A lizardous day

An usual day

There was once a city of bugs, where everyone lived happy and led a peaceful life.
There was a bug named John , John was married to Christina and had 4 children .
John works as a manager in a big company .
One day John woke up and found something a bit different about hisself.
He felt he wasn't alright,but he didn't give this matter much thought and decided to go to his job.
Once he left his house he noticed that people are looking at him in a weird way. He thought his clothes were dirty or got something on them. He looked at his black suit and brown bag and didn't find anything weird about them . He continued his way and took the bus to his work.
When he entered the bus he noticed the same thing again people kept looking at him . He decided to read the newspaper to distract himself from the looks of the eyes that nearly cutted through his clothes.
After a few minutes of awkward looks John arrives to his work , he whispers to himself :( finally , this preposterous looks stopped). Then John walks into the company .
Suddenly, the security guards stops him wanting to see his identity card.
John feels angry as he has been working for this company for years and he is the manager everyone knows him.
After a few words John takes out his ID card ,but the security guards refuse to let him in and they tell him to leave politely or they will have to use their force to make him leave . John strongly disagrees and begins to shout at them :( oh, don't you know who am I. I have been working in this company for years ).
The security guards threaten him that they will call the police if he doesn't leave now at once.
John angry and frustrated leaves and decides to go to the park to relax a little.
There sits John and opens his bag to grab a book and read by the lake.
Such a nice and relaxing view.
The tree besides the lake the soft breeze of the wind and the clear water .
John sits there reading his book in peace for a while .
After three hours John decides he will go back home and call the company to see what happened today.
As he was on his way leaving the park he saw a few kids playing and decided to give them some candy as it was always part of his nature to be kind to others specially kids.
As he approached the children playing , the children suddenly looked at him with terror and with fear and ran away .
John felt awkward at that moment and thought perhaps he scared them because he was a stranger.
As he took the bus and people looked at him awkwardly again, he didn't bother himself to think about it and after sometime he finally arrived to his stop.
He left the bus and went to his house , he heard a lot of noise in his house and there was a police car standing outside, thinking something wrong happened , scared he ran to see what happened.
When he entered he found his wife talking to the police officer while crying .
then when she saw him she shouted what are you doing here get out, the police officer threatened him too to leave or he will get arrested. john didn't understand what is happening . He left angry , as he didn't know why this is happning to him.
He walks for sometime and decides to stay at an hotel for the night .
He went to a local hotel .
As he went in people again looked at him awakwardly.
He then got a key for his room and left it was room number 4A .
He lied on his bed after this tiring day and started to overthinks everything .
why his wife shouted at him, why people keeps looking at him, why the kids ran away.
after much thinking and thoughts that nearly caused his brain to explode he finally sleeps for a few hours and wakes up early in the morning.
He enters the bathroom to wash his teeth and shower.
As he was brushing his teeth he noticed something in the mirror and was horribly shocked his tooth brush fell from his hand. He gazes at the mirror speechless he says :(i...became aaa lizarddd).
he was filled with much fear and sorrow .
he then puts on his clothes and goes to get todays newspaper to see if anything weird happened .
as he opens the news paper he stares at a specific title . it says 𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐩𝐥𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 there was his wifes numbers and the police's number and next to them was his photo. He asks himself what has happened and how he turned into a lizard .  How will he life among all the other bettles , what about his family , job, friends?!
What will he do for a living in a cruel world.
He knows that the money on him isn't enough for him to live more than a week. He then decides to go and try to talk to his wife , he takes the nearest bus leading to the city Center where he lives. After sometime he arrives he finds his kids playing in front of the house , he goes to hug them but they scream calling there mother . The mother comes fast and threatenes him she will call the police he tries to explain what happened , but she doesn't listen . He says :( christina , pls pls hear me). , but she shouts at him and calls the police . He leave in hurry before ht police arrives . John filled with fear . Anger . Decides to visit the company once more. When he arrives he finds out they replaced him with a new manager and they haven't even looked  for him, filled with sorrow he leaves the company with the little money left on him he goes to the hotel to take his clothes and bag . All he owns now is his fancy suit and a bag filled with paper for a company that doesn't even remember him. He sits on a bench on the street and starts to think :( what will he do know).
