Chaelisa ft...
So whilst writing my main story TTK, I was missing chaelisa (also missing them irl, with the rest of BP) so I started to dabble in writing something specifically for them.
This is a world where vampires walk out in the open and humans are cool with it and they all mingle. Didn't go too deep into worldbuilding so just roll with what we got XD
I forgot how this particular idea started out*, but I think I wanted to challenge myself to write something a little different from my usual fare, experimenting. And in the process, managed to surprise myself a little as well.
I usually avoid extended smutty scenes in my stories, or have a story revolving around solely that, because I find them hard to write. In fact, I had written a good portion of this story and sat on it for a while because I simply didn't know how to go about the more sexy portion.
I revisited the story every now and then, because I enjoyed reading the build-up and always wanted to continue it.
Then once I was feeling particularly stuck with TTK and with some extra encouragement from StanThinMints (who helped a lot when it came to untangle the knot in some scenes, thank you!) I applied myself more to this story.
It was quite a funny coincidence when Rosé posted her little song snippet titled vampirehollie :VVV and it was around Valentine's too. Seemed like the universe was handing out signs XD Also Lisa kept on giving us gorgeous model covers and pictorials with dark tomboy/ceo/girlcrush vibes that were very inspiring.
Anyway, I enjoyed writing this oneshot (and I even managed to keep it as a oneshot!) so I hope you enjoy it too :D
