Hey guys, sorry for the short chapter. I kinda cut it weird back when I wrote the first part of this chapter. Also, is August a brunette? My notes say yes, but that doesn't mean that's what I said in the actual story and my Internet is down while I type this so I can't check. Thanks for reading!

"W-what are you talking about?" He asked, nervousness entering his voice.
"I think you were..." Davis trailed off, not wanting to say what her opinion of the situation was.
By this point Meadow had tears in his eyes and was on the verge of hyperventilating. Davis moved closer to him and gently hugged him, careful of the merman's wounds.
"Meadow," She said softly. "Talk to me."
"I-I was raped." He told her, tears falling to the ground. Davis tightened her hold just slightly.
Meadow opened his mouth to continue, but the door shut, startling both merman and women and cutting Meadow off. Davis and Meadow looked up to see August staring at them.
The brunette (?) stared at the two for what felt like eternity to Meadow, trying to comprehend the information that he just received.
