Six.
That's the number of girls in my friendship group.
I go to an all girls school, so that's why there's no guys in the mix.
After four years of going to this school, you really actually forget about the absence of the male species.
I'm now in year eleven, the fifth year of my schooling, and I'm seventeen.
So back to my friends list.
There's Tameka, she hates her name and insists heavily that we call her Tammy. That, she can stand.
There's Yuki, she's Japanese. She loves to draw and she's amazing at it, I can't even draw circles right.
There's Melissa. She's so innocent and adorable. Her mum is a teacher at our school, so she's extra talented at mathematics.
There's Gemma, she is a cheerleader. She's very fit and sporty. Trust her to literally catch you if you fall.
Then there's Jessica. She's an absolute people person. Will buy you anything you ever wanted if you asked, she'd spend every dollar she owned to please you.
I arrived at school, jumping out of my car in a rush, almost forgetting all of my books that I needed, plus the fact that my sister was still in the car, and ran into the school building.
You'd think someone had died, or I was being chased by brain eating zombies by the way I was speeding through the corridor.
As the flush of heat spread up my neck and onto my cheeks, colouring them a tomato red, I came to a halt at the locker room doors.
Inside I spotted all of my friends milling around, plus a large number of year elevens whom of which were all giving me questioning glances.
I stopped my frantic behaviour, and took a deep breath, trying to recompose my calm composure.
"What's got your knickers in a twist?" Tammy called out.
Embarrassing!
I walked with my face pointed towards the ground, my hair creating a curtain covering my embarrassment.
As I reached my friends I whispered one thing, "Dylan O'Brien".
The faces of my friends crumpled up in confusion and humour as they tried to figure out the meaning behind my randomness.
"Wait... That came out wrong" I outwardly realised.
"Yes Kenz, that came out wrong" Yuki laughed, sarcastically nodding her head.
"What did you mean to say?" Jessica asked. Jessica was the only one in my group of friends that watched Teen Wolf.
In fact, she was the one that got me into it. That and the fact that Dylan O'Brien is in it...
"Guys, don't freak out, but, I could have the chance to meet the entire cast of Teen Wolf, let alone DYLAN O'FREAKING BRIEN!" So... in the end, you could say I lost my calmness.
I was a hot mess today.
"Wait, that would be so awesome! How?" Gemma asked.
"Well I totally forgot about and this magazine that I bought ages ago, and I never actually read it, you know how I am, anything with Teen Wolf I'll buy, and this morning I found it and-" I broke off in pants.
"Kenzie! Don't say it all in one breath" Melissa laughed, patting me on my shoulder, "breathe."
Chuckling slightly to myself, I began to continue where I left off.
