As we go through life we always seem to take time for granted. Our experiences sometimes blur the presence of it. Depending on how you enjoy it, time will be fast or slow. The changes... they can be looked past or ignored but when you realize it.
It hits like a goddamn truck.
Take it from someone like me. Who died a loser in the past. Being a jackass who took things for granted. Someone who couldn't see the consequences of actions. I was stubborn and ignorant. I hated that life.
I wanna know what I was thinking at that time. Taking such a risky job. It was already shady enough that it didn't need experience, and how it needed constant applications.
In the end, it was an illegal operation that was raided the day after I joined. While running, I got shot in the back multiple times. Now bleeding on the ground, all I have with me is regrets. I'm such an idiot.... aren't I?
I turned my back weakly only to see my colleagues getting executed. I messed up big time. This group was anything but the ordinary. I kept looking for any way out, but my luck was horrible. I was seen still breathing by one of the people who raided this place.
Now he's walking towards me. Gun in hand probably about to put a bullet through my skull. No, I don't want it to end like this...
"Why did this happen... Please someone save me... I don't wanna die..."
I tried to force my body to move. But I lost too much blood. He reached me and, with a cold expression, aimed the firearm. Looks like I'm dying today. What a pathetic way to go.
Hah.... I'm sorry to everyone kind enough even care for me. I wish I could get a second chance. *sniffle*. Mom, Dad... I wish I could apologize to you guys before I die. Goodbye. I hope at least your lives are better without someone like me.

(Location unknown)In a forest we see a shadow at night, moving at inhumane speeds. Jumping on trees to maximize his movement. Taking a closer look at this figure, he seems to be on the run. Judging by how fast he's going.
The shadow in question was a boy no older than 16 years old. Wearing a traditional style kimono with some modifications to help with the movement. His brown hair flowed smoothly like a river through the wind. With katana in hand, he blocked a kunai that was thrown towards him.
The pursuit took longer than expected, with no signs of stopping. He concluded that conflict is inevitable. Sensing something, he turned his body to the side to dodge multiple projectiles before heading to the end of the forest at an open plain.
Brandishing his blade, he took a stance and readied for the fight that was about to take place. As the pursuers exited the forest they kept their pace and charged at the boy. He quickly counted the number of people to dispatch.
"Six..." The boy muttered
The first one unsheathed his weapon while closing the distance. Blades met in an ear-ringing clash as sparks flew from the amount of power both swings had. The boy then pushed the blade away redirecting it towards the other blade that was aiming for his side. Allowing him to block two strikes with one.
The two assailants were surprised. They could not react in time to the boy, who quickly dispatched them with clean slices. Skillfully ducking a slash from behind, he swiped the man's legs, making him fall off balance. After that, he brought down his blade to the chest. Killing him instantly.
"Three down, three to go." He noted.
The remaining was taken aback by the skill and prowess of the boy. As can be seen by the sweat beads on their face. Seeing how your target could quickly end, you do that to a man. Making some distance from him, they decided to use talismans. Specifically explosive talisman's
Seeing what they're about to plan. He closed the distance in a few seconds before zigzagging around them and in quick succussion. The three are dead on the ground still bleeding.
"Hmph... They still don't learn do they?" He sighed, remembering what Alyssa gonna do to him if he was late.
While musing, an almost dead assailant made a last-ditch attempt and dashed to try and kill him.
"Hah... Should have stayed dead, Moonlight Form Fourth Move: Split Counter" In an instant, he was behind the man and slowly sheathed his blade. When it fully sheathed, there were a thousand slices, and the man was gone, reduced to atoms. No trace whatsoever.
With a swing, he spattered the blood that was stuck on his blade to the ground. Before sheathing it back again. Picking up a white lily he looked towards the sky.
Seven people came out of the forest,
only one remained. As the moon shined on him, he was the only spectator. Illuminating the winner in this bloody battlefield.

(Prologue End)Yo! Author here. How was the fight scene? Did I overdo it? Or is it too little? If so, tell me what you guys think.
This is basically like a taste of what's to come. I'm a new writer so watch out for any grammar and spelling mistakes.
I take any sort of criticism given to help me write better. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say.
I hope you enjoyed this prologue and have a good day!
