Solar's POV:

Today was such a long day... From Karens to FC barging into the theatre and trying to steal the projector, AGAIN. God I hate that kid sometimes...

I was just walking to my bed when I stopped in front of my mirror, 'god I'm so ugly....' I thought to myself, but before I walked over to my bed, I blinked and then I saw my Moon... Great....

"𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓪 𝓶𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓴𝓮....."
"𝓨𝓸𝓾 𝓴𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓭 𝓱𝓳𝓶...."
"𝓝𝓸 𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓬𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓼...."

I couldn't take it. I smashed my mirror, just so he would leave me alone.... My ears started to ring and everything started getting way brighter... I began feeling smaller, and smaller... I stumbled backwards onto the floor, I couldn't quite pick myself up so I crawled to my bed. It didn't take long after I sat in bed to start crying, I grabbed the Sun plushie on my bed that Sunny gave me... I want Sunny.... 'Wait no.... I'm not a child....' I thought to myself as I shook, holding my knees and plushie to my chest, crying into them.

[TIME SKIP ➾]

Sun's POV:

I just finished up closing for the night! I'm so glad I can finally go home, but first I think I'm gonna go check on Solar, he didn't seem too good earlier.... I went over into the theatre to check on Solar, when I was getting closer to his room, which was really just a big closet, I heard sobbing. I knocked on the door.
"Solar? Are you there? Are you ok?" I asked. I waited for a minute or two before Solar slowly opened the door. Their face smudged with oily tears that wouldn't stop while he held the plushy I gave him.. "Solar, can you tell me what happened?" I asked as I stepped inside his room, closing the door behind me. It didn't take long for Solar to cling to me, crying and sniffing into my shoulder. "What's wrong? What happened?" I asked them, wrapping them in a loose hug. He didn't respond, he just kept crying and sniffling. I began to look around his room for anything to try and help me figure out what was wrong. I looked around a bit before seeing Solar's mirror shattered on the ground.
"Did you break your mirror?" I asked in the softest voice I could. "I-I...." I couldn't make out what they were saying with how they choked on their sobs. "I-I'm sowwy S-Sunny..." They finally said. I finally realized with how Solar was talking that he was regressed at the moment. I walked them back over to their bed so we could sit. "What happened Solar?" I asked, I needed to know so I could help properly, I just want to make sure they're ok... It was a few moments before Solar actually spoke.
"I-I saw Moon and-and!..." Solar choked out between sobs. Before they could speak up again Sun gently laid down with them, holding his boyfriend gently.
"You saw your old Moon and got upset?" Sun asked, to which Solar returned a soft nod. "Do you feel little?" Sun asked, again, he was met with a subtle nod. Sun nodded back. "How little do you feel?" Sun questioned in the softest voice he could. Solar took a moment before holding up five fingers. Sun sighed with a smile; he wasn't actually tired or disappointed by anything he just was glad Solar wasn't feeling that little, as this has only happened a few times. Sun sat up slowly before gently lifting Solar into his lap, handing him one of his weighted plushies. Solar rested their head against Sun's shoulder slowly closing their eyes as Sun hummed quietly. "Fank you... (Thank you)" Solar mumbled before finally giving into the sweet release of sleep.

"You're welcome, my dear..."
