Yang Xiao Long was frozen in place, she wanted to charge at the man for suddenly approching her sister with what was obviously a threatening voice. But the fucker had shown the ability to transfrom into smoke, and if she were to charge at him right now she would end up hitting Ruby.
"Right here?" Ruby asked in confusion. Not noticing how the friends around her began to slowly surround the man.
"Correct, in your heads." Hypnos said, still talking with his serious voice. "You're in the oniric realm, this are not your bodies, this is simply a dream. I had to wait for all of you to fall asleep in order to bring you."
"Then why isn't Jaune here?" Pyrrha asked, searching for a good angle in wich she wouldn't hurt Ruby.
"He hasn't fallen asleep yet." Hypnos informed the champion.
"We saw him basically dive into bed." Ren responded while following the Champion's example.
"Correct, but..." Hypnos began.
IN THE REAL WORLD.
"OF COURSE I WOULD'VE FORGOTTEN!" Jaune exclaimed to himself (and the room besides his). He was sitting infront of the team's desk continiouly checking his book and then writting on his notebook. "A WEEK TO MAKE OOBLECK'S REPORT AND I REMEMBER THE NIGHT BEFORE!! NOT EVEN DURING THE DAY, BUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!"
This night. Jaune wouldn't sleep at all.
IN THE ONIRIC WORLD.
"... I told him to start working on it." Pyrrha said, sighing a little at his partner's antics. "Nora are you okay?"
The ginger had fully stopped, there was a dead look in her eyes and her smile was frozen.
"I forgot." Nora said with a neutral tone in her voice. "I completely forgot about Oobleck's report."
While some of the students stared at the girl with sympathy, Hypnos kept talking.
"Calm down." Hypnos said, his head starting to fall a little. "Like I said, this is my realm. If I wanted to hurt you all I would only need to think about it."
"And why are we in your real?" Weiss asked with a suspicious voice.
"I... just... want... you... all..." Hypnos began to yawn. "TO WATCH A SHOW!!"
Some of the students backed away a little at the sudden shout.
"I ALMOST FORGOT TO SHOUT TO KEEP MYSELF AWAKE!!" Hypnos shouted with a little bit of shame. "BUT LIKE I SAID, I ONLY WANT YOU ALL TO WATCH SIX HOURS AND A HALF OF A SHOW!! THEN YOU'LL ALL WAKE UP AND BE ABLE TO CONTINUE WITH YOUR DAY!!"
"And what do we gain with this?" Yang asked the man.
"YOU WILL ALL WAKE UP WITHOUT BEING TIRED, YOU KNOW THAT FEELING OF WANTING TO GO BACK TO BED!?" Hypnos kept shouting, answering Yang's question. "AFTER WAKING UP, YOU WONT BE FEELING THAT AT ALL!! YOU ALL WILL BE READY FOR THE DAY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM!!"
"Tempting." Blake said, before frowning a little. "But Yang made the wrong question. What do you gain from this?"
"ENTERTAINMENT!!" Hypnos said. "BELIVE IT OR NOT YOUR REACTIONS TO THIS SHOW WILL BRING ME HUMOR!!" And with that he dissapeared completely.
