"Be ready by six...and wear the dress." That is what Nic had said to me after his very important phone call. Then once again, he was leaving me alone, with no answers...and in a foreign place to top it off.

I'd been hopeful, getting dressed this morning, but after an hour and a half passed I wasn't so sure I would be doing anything else today but staying in the suite. With that, by late morning I'd lost the block heels and found myself lounging on the sofa. When channel surfing and reading became too boring, I stared up at the ceiling for a while, bored out of my mind.

The room service attendant hadn't been overly chatty this morning when clearing breakfast or when bringing the salad I had ordered for lunch-which has been tasteless.

It was just passed two in the afternoon when I decided to take advantage of the bath. An early start was going to be needed because it took me twice as long to do hair and makeup. I didn't want to admit it, not even to myself, but I'd decided to go to dinner...only because if I didn't leave the room, I was going to lose my mind.

While I relaxed, nose-deep in bubbles and steam, I considered calling Thalia. In the end, I settled with sending her a text, reassuring her that I was on the mend and would be in commission in no time.

The water was just swirling down the drain as I tied on a new robe when there was a knock, resonating through the suite. I rushed to the front, perhaps because I was almost desperate for human contact, and didn't hesitate to open the door.

As soon as I got a look at what was on the other side I didn't know if I should be confused or scared. The woman wasn't very tall. She had short blue hair, a lot of facial piercings, and bold-ass-hell makeup. Fishnets, leather, platform shoes. Not that I was judging...it just wasn't something I normally saw. "Uh, hi?" I was the first to speak.

"You must be Eleanor. I'm Frankie. Nic sent me," She said. When she started forward I had no other option but to open the way for her as she wheeled a suitcase with her.

"Sure...for what exactly?" I asked once the door was closed behind us.

Frankie looked around for a second before turning to me, all smiles. "Hair and makeup, of course. You have an important dinner tonight, he said," She explained.

Maybe it was dramatic but that irritation took over again. I wanted to do nothing more but tell her no thanks and then ask her to leave. But hello, I was tragically bored and had already decided to go to the "important dinner". Instead of being a jerk about it, I just nodded. "Right, yes."

Frankie wasted no time. She ordered me into my part of the suite and quickly went to work.

The most exciting part about this trip so far, I'd conclude, was Frankie. She had a spirit about her, much like my dear, new friend Thalia, but hers was a little more faint. A little less "Look at me!" Even though absolutely nothing was wrong with Thalia's spirit.

She worked fast and before I knew it my face was done in soft browns and gold. She pinned my hair back with a clip. Because she worked so fast, we had plenty of time and she gave me some tips on the art of makeup.
