That night in the beach house Raya JoJo and Bliss were on the couch in their PJ's surrounded with delicious snacks from the pantry. JoJo was telling the girls about how she met orb bot and cub bot and helped sticks with her costume.
"Well, look at the time", said Raya, " we better head to bed befor it gets too late".
"Noted", bliss said getting of the couch and stretching. " This island air sure makes a wolfie sleepy".
"I'm always sleepy", Raya said getting up, " well... when I'm not kicking ass or fucking up some slut. Otherwise I'm always tired ".
They went upstairs and went into their bedroom's after bidding each other good night.
JoJo never fell asleep very easily so while Raya and Bliss were snoring away she layed awake in bed thinking of all the fun things they were gonna do at the party tomorrow. Lost in her thoughts she automatically fell asleep.
-At amy's house.
Sticks had spent the rest of that day with amy and was now at her house for dinner.
" I still wish you'd show me your new costume you picked out", said amy putting the dishes away.
"Oh, I want it to be a surprise", said sticks, " well would you look at the time it's gettin pretty late. I should probably get goin".
"Are you sure", Amy asked worriedly, " it's pitch black out there, I could walk you home if you want".
"Na, amy I'm good. But thanks anyway. No need to worry about me ive found my way home in the dark before".
" Of course you have ".😏
Sticks waved goodbye and left.
Sticks had just entered the forest when her paranoia started to get the best of her.
" Why does it feel like someone's watchin us", said her inner voice.
"Oh pleas we're in a forest", sticks mumbled, " it's probably just some owls or nocturnal rodents watchin us lookin for food".
"Owl eyes are just cameras so the government can watch us at night", said her inner voice.
" Just relax,", sticks told herself, "we're almost home. Just a few more minutes and we can sleep easy. Nobody would be out here in the middle of the night".
Oh, but someone was there and they were watching sticks's every move and followed her back to her burrow.
-At the beach house. -15 minutes later.
JoJo, Raya and Bliss were sleeping peacefully that night and no one stirred. No one... except JoJo. There was no explanation to why the golden retriever had woken up so suddenly from sucha sound slumber. Her right eye shot open revealing a thin slit pupil... like a snake.
