Ava's POV

After I got done helping Tyler out with his dating issues I went to pop in a scary movie.

The first part showed and I quickly turned it off and turned on all the lights.

Yup, I still cant watch a scary movie on my own.

I headed towards the kitchen to get some hot cheetos and decided to go to Xavier's house to surprise him.

He thankfully lived right down the street so I had to walk pass a few urban houses to get to his.

I warmed my arms and blew into my hands as it was getting colder by the minute. I quickly knocked with one hand while the other hand held the hot cheetos.

He didn't answer so I went to look into his window near the door and saw something that made my stomach churn.

Xavier's POV

My mom was at work again, so I decided to pop in some pizza rolls and watch basketball.

I heard a faint knock on the door and I opened to see the girl I saw at the grocery store a few days earlier.

"Xavier! Right?" She put her slick back hair behind her ear and gave me a fake smile. I nodded.

"Yeah. What's up?" I turned to look at the tv and realized I was missing the final half of the game.

"I just came to drop of one of your bracelets you dropped at the store."

She held up a tiny gold bracelet that I was certain wasn't mine. I silently scowled. "That isn't mine."

Her face transitioned to being nervous, but quickly covered with a fake laugh. "I know. I was just here so I can have an excuse to be at your house. Am I interrupting anything?"

She glanced behind me and studied my many paintings on the walls. "No you're not disturbing anything. Although, I must ask how did you find my address?"

She quickly turned back to meet my gaze. "I saw you go down this street. No biggie. Can I come in," She said quickly changing the subject.

She strutted into my tv room and played with the many bracelets on her wrist. "The game is on today," Brianna asked uninterested. I nodded and went in to the kitchen to grab the pizza rolls.

"Make yourself at home if you want." I put the pizza rolls on the tray & sat them on the coffee table. I didn't want to make her leave and be harsh, so I decided she can stay a little while longer. After all, I can look at her ass all day.

"You're half Mexican?" She looked at the photographs of my mom and I.

I smiled and looked at the pictures too. "Yeah, my mom is and my dad is black. But my dad and I lost contact."

Brianna silently nodded and looked at my earrings. "Aren't those painful? You have so many." She touched my plugs and I smirked.

"Nah, you get used to them after the 2nd one." She nodded and smirked back.

"I like them...they make you look even more captivating."

She blew on my ear and slowly nibbled it. I shifted uncomfortably to the other side of the couch. "I think it's best, if we remain friends," I informed scooting farther away.

I knew what I was doing. If I didn't hold my ground we would probably already be in bed this second.

She nodded disappointed, but still didn't get the message. "I know you have a girlfriend, Xavier. But lets face it, you're a player. You play with girl's hearts, and ruin them. You're just taking longer to ruin this girls' heart. There's plenty of fish in the sea Xavier, and shes just one of them.
