Miki's point of view

"Boom!" rain pours loudly on the roof. "Beep...Beep..." I stirred slightly in my sleep. I reached an arm out from under my warm deep purple blanket to attempt (and fail) to hit the obnoxious alarm clock that sat on top of the side table. Thunder rippled through the two story house shaking everything. The vibration nocked the alarm clock to the ground. I turned my head to stare at the clock time. I peered over the edge of the bed to stare at the clock. While adjusting my eyes to the slightly lit room to read the time on the clock lightning flashed through the full sized windows. A couple of seconds passed "boom". Finally with eyes more adjusted to the light I stared at the time "it's only 8 am" tiredness seeped through my voice. Slowly I slinked myself out of the queen sized bed.
I walked across the uber soft carpet without making any noise to the master bathroom. I looked through the eerier dark doorway, "where's the light switch?" I felt around the wall looking for the annoying light switch. Finally finding it I turned on the lights, I blinked rapidly to stop seeing spots. The mirror showed that I could sleep for days and that I had a nasty case of bedhead.
I walked out of the bathroom. I walked over to my closet that was made out of oak. Handmade carvings revealed roses and ancient symbols long forgotten intertwined together.Running my hand across my favorite rune, shaped into a lotus flower. I pulled out my pulled out my comfy house clothes, black shorts, a tight black V cut tee with Celtic knots and a black/purple jacket. While changing, lighting flashed through the room. The light illuminated the few paintings around the room. Walking down the hallway from the second floor to the stairway that lead directly to the living room was easier than finding the light switch because the windows in the living room had light pouring into the house.
I walked past the plush leather sofa to go towards the full sized windows. I looked outside the living room windows to see the lightning shoot across the sky. I turned around to turn on the flat screen TV to the weather channel. Weather man says" better have those umbrellas out today folks the rain ain't gonna be letting up any time soon". I cheerfully said" I'm so glad I ain't gotta leave any time soon". I turned off the annoying weather channel. Before I walked over to the kitchen I changed the input to show the home screen of my crimson laptop. The home screen was an old photo of my dear high school best friends. We were all wearing our school uniforms. I was standing in the middle with my brother standing on my left and my epically cute sister on my right(okay technically they are my best friends, but we might as well be siblings since we've been through a lot together).
"Knock knock.....knock" "who could be at the door in this weather" I walked past the kitchen through the hallway to the front door. I peered through the eye hole thingy. I saw my sister drenched wearing a short black skirt with purple swirls, a tee shirt that had a male anime character on it and a long sleeved black hoodie. I opened the door and pulled her into a hug "kayle I've missed you" I looked at her with concern trying to figure out why she was here. Growling noises approached from behind kayle. I quickly pulled her inside the house and slammed the door behind us. "Bang" something had hit the door with enough force to shake the light fixtures. Kayle walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a water out of the fridge. "What the hell was that" I turned to look at her. Kayle was leaning on the counter shaking. She looked so pale. "Kayle are you okay, you don't look so good" I walked over to her, she was rocking back and forth mumbling something I didn't understand. I grabbed her arms and pulled her with me to the master bathroom. The tub quickly got filled with cherry blossom scent and warm water. I sat beside the tub as she took a bath. After her bath I gave her a fluffy soft purple towel. She lie on the queen sized bed and slowly fell asleep. "Ring..ring..ring" "Who's calling this early" I grabbed the cell off the night stand.
"Hello" I said. I walked out of my bedroom so I wouldn't wake Kayle. "Are you alright, I felt that something was wrong" Jake said. "Sorta alright little bit freaked out, kayle is sleeping currently, but something tried to attack us" I said. "Where are you and Kayle?" Jake said freaked out. "Currently in my room but I'm hungry and I'm about to get some breakfast" I told him. "Stay away from all window and doors I'll be there in five minutes that means you can wait for breakfast, I'll make some for you and kayle okay" Jake ordered. "Fine, I'll be waiting" I told him more than slightly agitated that I had to wait for my breakfast.
